You have to laugh at how deluded this guy is!!! Regarding Malky...... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29423869 "I had no sympathy for him after what he had done. He is the man responsible for us being relegated," said Tan. Added Tan: "[He had] £50m to buy players so that we don't get relegated. We spent more money than Hull and Palace and we got relegated. "People will say we got relegated because I quarrelled with him, but I didn't. "He didn't talk to me for a few months. I arranged to meet up with him, it was nothing personal, but he refused to meet me," Tan continued. "Of course, all the pundits in Cardiff, they love him because he got Cardiff up after 51 years. "They only think the manager got us up. They never think about the owner giving him money, that's not important. "Maybe they should meet a poor owner then they would know. Try to get promoted without any money, then they would know." Urrrmmmmmmm (1) Mackay got Cardiff promoted - FACT (2) Mackay had Cardiff outside of the relegation zone before he was sacked - FACT (3) Tan hired Solskjaer who in turn got them relegated, and further more struggling in the Championship - FACT This guy really is on a different planet. How much was Solskjaer given to become their new saviour?
All Tan's fault . Isolated the manager and half the Cardiff fans from rebrand and telling them if they dont like it support someone else.Probably the most disrespectful chairman toward the rank and file of supporters the Premier League ever seen .Knows nothing about football but wants to control it all , look who he replaced Malky's second in command with , a painter ..lol
...not to mention a deliberate and systematic denigration of Mackay's character thereafter (though Mackay left the door wide open for him on that one). If Mackay was to blame because of his mismanagement of transfer funds then Tan is just as at fault for allowing that to happen. Someone needs to tell thim that unlike a chain of chemists where you can employ someone to run it top to bottom, football chairmen need to sign off on the big decisions and the buck stops there. No doubt he'd blame Mackay too for their subsequent performances under Solskjaer and their current lowly position.
I really believe Cardiff fans (BBC Cardiff especially) think we got promotion by default because we didn't spend £quizillions. Hopefully relegation awaits them again this season, FFP rules catch up with them and Tan decides he's had enough and leaves demanding his investment with interest in full.
He is an attention seeker and craves to be told how good he is and how grateful people are to him. Obviously MM didn't get that bit quite right and was sent on his way. Now OGS and whoever they employ will be employed on the condition their tongue is firmly up Tans Arse.
I agree with that. The cringeworthy YouTube videos of his employees in Malaysia singing songs on his birthday; his treatment of Cardiff fans, especially those who wouldn't toe the party line on the 'rebranding.' A despicable megalomaniac who won't listen to advice from people who know the game more than he ever will; a man who is used to getting what he wants because of the corruption that's endemic throughout Asia - not even having to put in a bid for the Malaysian lottery is an example of that, it was just given to him by his pals in government. Not a nice guy - but they are not a nice club so it's a marriage made in heaven.
I think Tan is great !!!!! long may he reign and continue to give us jacks endless amount of fun....It will be a sad day for wales and football in general when he do finally leave...
Now what odds do you think Coral will give on this happening "Cardiff owner Tan wants Slade to outlast long-serving Wenger" Mind you I would expect shorter odds on this "The Malaysian recognised, however, that he might not be at the club to see that happen." But probably the most worrying thing to Cardiff fans is "Tan [said] that Cardiff's board of directors picked the last three managers and, following the resignation of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer earlier this month, he was taking the recruitment process into his own hands. "He was identified by me," the 62-year-old Tan said of Slade"
Yes, Mr Tan really has a high opinion of himself doesn't he. Stupid, yes. Deserved? Well only if you're a vindictive type I guess.
According toRadio Wales once Slade takes over Cardiff will win promotion and be back where they belong
I just wonder whether the men in white coats were able to find somewhere to park their van as they dragged that pundit away.
Well there is certainly no shortage of entertainment from the capital, Red, Blue or whatever, they just keep on giving, they should now make a film themselves, in the Carry-on mould of course, preferable with the title 'Carry-on-down-the-league' would be a money spinning title.............
