. Agent of QPR misfit/star talks up January move away from club Posted by SPORT WITNESS on September 29, 2014 at 16:50 in Sport Witness Football View Discussions . Adel Taarabt is now 25 years old and moving out of the stage where he would naturally be considered as a youthful footballer showing potential of making it to the very top of the game. There are few who doubt Taarabt's natural talent, least of all the player himself, but it takes more than that to sustain a career at Premier League level... especially for the type of player Taarabt is. The Moroccan international is expected to win games for his club and has done that previously, just not consistently and at Premier League level. A move to AC Milan on loan worked out for the player to a certain extent and a permanent move had been expected, but the Italian club wanted a hefty discount on the fee which had been agreed with QPR as part of the temporary deal. It dragged on all summer and nothing came of it. AC Milan were happier to lose the player than pay a penny more than they thought they should. Taarabt has a contract running out in June 2016 and the amount QPR will receive doesn't look like going upwards, especially given his lack of involvement this season so far. Taarabt's agent has unsurprisingly confirmed that a move in January could be on. Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb in Italy, Kia Joorabchian said "Taarabt in January can move, yes. Perhaps even in Italy, but it is too early to say..." A return to Italy may well be what Taarabt is most keen on and Joorabchian has many connections with Serie A clubs. AC Milan could even move in again and their starting bid will more than likely be pretty close to £0, and a promise to take the player's wages off the QPR bill.
Another non-story!! Mr Joorabchian, do you think there's a chance that Adel Taarabt could move clubs in January? Yes, I think there's a chance of that. What a load of bollocks!
Other things that may happen in January: - snow in the northern hemisphere - some shops may have sales - some people go on diets - QPR buys some strikers
F...ck taarabt. We need players not primadonnas. If Milan or other clubs want him so be it otherwise he euther plays or he is out with the development team. No need for a fatso rebel.
Although I can empathise with your frustration,I can understand what you're saying Roma, but not in the manner you've posted. Do you not feel that with the amount of coaches and backroom staff available, that we should try and be able to get the best out of our available talent? What I find confusing is that Harry says he's injured, but you'd of thought this article would be a factor of him signing for anyone else if that were the case. Who'd want to sign a consistently injured and unfit player?
We should have been able to extract his potential but failed like we did with many other players. The point is that we need to copy from those clubs who havebigger egos than the players. Mr T would have not lasted a day with a similar behaviour at Juventus (look at how they transformed Tevez). Sorry but i have enough of that softie attitude on and off the pitch.
He could have gone in the summer but nobody wanted him or at least at a sensible price..... But now he is here I think he is worth putting on the bench, could be a good play to mix things up and who knows he may prove himself and get a starting line up, eventually. Having said that not sure who i would drop off the bench.
AT does himself no favours with how he acts. However there is nothing in this story. Ofcourse there is the possibility of a move in January. It's the January transfer window. The only quote in the article is - "Taarabt in January can move, yes. Perhaps even in Italy, but it is too early to say..." What came after the ...? Using 1 sentence from a conversation to make an article and a headline. It must be frustrating for players to see this sh~t written.
Just like it's frustrating for us fans to witness a great talent going to waste because the player couldn't give a sh~t about the club that he once stated "he loved" Yet another Adel thread with absolutely nothing new
Get him back in a QPR shirt and then any doubters ….. watch and learn he is exactly what we need and will make and score goals Get henry in not that clown Sandro He will link the whole thing up … Watched Saints game again and we were running about like headless chickens …. you need flair, composure and skill … Taarabt has the lot and will get found every time by Nico Worry the other team because currently Harold's team is no where near being tight. Score and confidence will grow Green Isla Caulker Rio Traore Henry Phillps Nico Vargas/Hoilett Taarabt Austin
Agree with the Adel and Henry parts. Unsure about Isla or Ned (but I do like the extra width /attacking options Isla brings), and also Clint or Rio, but I think Clint will do better there.
