Cheers Thai. It's an entire team built by Gaz (no left overs from previous management). I'm quietly optimistic as we have a very sound defence and youth and pace too. Gaz has done extremely well on a shoestring budget. Early days though so not getting carried away.
Keep this up and Sky are going to move you to a Friday night More than just watching out for Wycombe, I want to see Paul Hayes banging them in again. To this day I am still gutted that we got rid of him, while he was still young and a bit reckless.
Much needed Ron. It's been a very hard 2 years under the influence of Chris Hughton playing a defensive game. Neil Adams is far more attack minded, which he may get away with in the Championship, but the acid test will come if we can bounce straight back up.
Other than the opening game, it has been a cracking start, although the 'Derby' game was almost ugly as sin to watch. The agony, desperation, anxiety, tantrums, arguing and bickering etc from last season have all but gone......for now. A renewed wave of optimism is sweeping over Carrow Road and it's Yellow Army mate, just got to hope it can can continue for a swift return to the PL (where will get battered most weeks again )
It's great isn't it Thai. We are currently second with fewer goals conceded than any other team in the League and the second highest goal difference. And you are sitting right at the top of the Championship and clear favs to win the league. Let's hope it continues. We have a fantastic defence but could be vulnerable if any of those get injured as we have a very small squad and live on a shoestring budget. Northampton will be a telling game for us as, although they are currently below us, they are quoted at lower odds than us for promotion. I see that Spurs have loaned them Jordan Archer who played in goal for us (on loan from Spurs) - decent goalie.
Evening Murray. Gaz has built his team how he wants it. Solid defence means we can win a lot of game needing to score only 1 or 2 goals. Pacy strikers gives us that hope of scoring on the break. Any team that scores more than 2 against us are either very lucky or very good.
For us, it has been an odd start to the season Ron. Barely got out of 2nd gear in most games, and still winning by 2 goal margins or better. Lord alone knows what it will be like if/when Neil Adams get the right balance and fully fit squad
