Thought it might be that but don't have any other symptoms, fingers crossed as it's that time of year. Feel better after having a banana and some toast and lots of water.

Think RHC's boss must have been reading the cheese thread and realises he needs to take cool off

That's odd- I would have thought Robinson Crusoe's birthday would have been on Friday!

Would he appreciate the Cheese thread instead? <laugh>

    Anybody read this: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-29424644?a

Why is this idiot still trying to defend "the crowd were out of control" rubbish? Why are the other barristers allowing him to do it?

FFS the majority of Liverpool supporters trying to get into the ground had far more experience of crowds, their behaviour and positive policing methods every other week at Anfield during the season than this character ever had!

  17. As we all know, this is a sensitive subject so I want opinions; should this be in the pub (no offence intended to Dave) or should these things have their own dedicated thread? I'm happy either way but suspect some would prefer it to not be in the pub so I'm checking.

I've no objection to it going elsewhere. I put it here because it would be seen by those who share an interest and had less chance of being hijacked. All I wanted to do was comment on what I'd seen.

I have no problem discussing it, but the pub thread is not really the appropriate place in my opinion. I'm surprised this hasn't got a dedicated thread already, if I'm honest.

  20. I have no problem with it being here, just asking because some see the pub thread as a escape / light hearted area of the board.

Like CCC, I would have thought there would have been a dedicated thread for Hillsborough TBH but having had a quick look, there are two or three threads that are focused on certain aspects of the disaster. Plus a few other morons that decided to use it to score points too <doh> (obviously, you norms won't see these though)
