I would have thought Newcastle fans would be used to being in this position as so oft times before. I'd like shot of both north eastern teams from the PL.

 

As ****e as the Toon are (again), let's not forget that 'Pool are almost as bad.

I still think that Rodgers and Mr Dodgy Barnet have some work to do before they consider themselves safe.

Pardew getting the sack isn't really what this thread was about, anyway, because the Toon are no longer a big club - haven't been since the 50s.

Dougie Freedman has left Bolton, following their 4-0 thrashing by fellow Championship strugglers, managerless Fulham.

 

Freedman should regret leaving Palace in the first place: they started the season well with him in charge, and ended up being promoted - while Bolton were a mess on and off the field and still are.
