Fred, I support the confidence you are showing. Albeit, my judgement having been dented by backing Felix, which turned into a nightmare and I could not wait for him to go.

The squad we have (Felix having got rid of a couple too many) is one we have to make work, which means Kit - he knows the younger players and had the sense to boost them by getting a balance in the side. Blackburn at home was a sensible team, pity they'd not played as an 11 under Felix. I've already said I prefer League One to Pulis and none of the others are likely to get more out of what we have.

So its time to have the balls to back Kit - now; not in 2 months time. I might be ok with either a Director of Football (yes, I know the downsides) or Danny coming back in some capacity - the guy is pro-Fulham.

Just think what a win on Wednesday would do?

    Glass-half-full, as ever. COYW!

Does anyone the terms of the loans for Cole & Tunnicliffe & Kaca? Can we recall at anytime, after Christmas or not at all. If we could, it might be a good move to get them back.

I know it might not seem like it Fulhaman but Larnell Cole is still at the Club. And, although he's in the U21 squad, he hasn't featured.

When Kaca was on loan to Burnley he was re-called after only 6 weeks with them. That deal was a short term one at the back end of the season though, whereas the one with Copenhagen is season long - as is Tunnicliffe's with Blackburn. There's no indication that the [/I]small print[/I] has a re-call clause in either case.

I seem to remember when the Kacaniklic deal went through that it was initially just until January (which is the end of the season in the Scandanavian leagues). I think I read that on this board. Does anyone else remember that, or have I just made it up?

No I remember that being said too, although I didn't bring it up as my memory is colander-esque at best.

Pretty sure that the Danish League dates are similar to ours and their season finishes May/June time. Press reports at the time of Kaca going certainly implied that the loan was for the duration of our season.

Copied across from the Outgoing loan deals thread in reply to my question about this on there (thanks Surly)

I remember an interview with Tunnicliffe saying he hadn't settled in London and missed family/friends in the north west. I think we could do with him, but don't want an unhappy player back if he'd rather be at Blackburn. Anyone see Kaca's recent goal:

Why do we want Kaca back? I only remember me and others saying he just wasn't cutting the mustard whenever he played and was too lightweight. Whats changed? The Championship is even more physical. I realise he adds width but at what cost.

Did well in the Championship a couple of seasons ago with Watford, and would give us that option, which we don't have!

He did even better in his subsequent spell with Burnley. That was the one that Jol cut short to put him into the first team for the last handful of games in his breakthrough season.
