We have 3 players that are totally out of tier depth. Cabella is woeful. Whoever sanctioned the deal after advice from a scout needs sacked. Gouf just brings nothing to the table. Obertron is a better player. And I leave te best for last. If rivière is a premiership striker then we got rid of a worlds. Shola is a better player. But hey another woeful 30 minutes of absolute dross. The only thing keeping me watching is that it's actually becoming funny.

 

My first post on here in years, I usually just look at the page but I am enraged by the useless on show. Same players playing crap every single week - Gouffran, Sissoko, Coloccini, Riviere. Few others to boot but this lot in particular and yet they are picked week in, week out.

 

Watching Sky and can someone tell me who Caballar is?

 

Do we even do any training. Going forward we have nothing. Defensively we are non existant. Wht the actual **** do they train for.

 

He is the ten year old that thinks taking on all the opposition will actually work one day.

 

Maybe he can actually learn to cross or shoot one day too...

 

2 things.

1) We still have no identity. What's our gameplan? Its sort of possession based, but it's so slow and laborious that creating openings is rare to say the least, because we end up playing kind of 5 or 6 attackers v 8 or 9 defenders. Odds alone don't stack up.
2) What must it be like to support a team who, when they get a free kick or corner, a sense of expectation is created? Every time we have a set play, I just assume nothing happens. Because it doesn't. Ever.

 

Would be interested to see a stat on how many goals we have scored from set plays under Pardew? 3? Or is that too high a number?

 

Optimistic. I reckon 2.

I fail to see what Gouffran is good at: can't pass, dribble, shoot or tackle.

 

Is there an actual 'game plan A' ..going on here? Because I will be damned if I can see one..

You wrote that like its surprising? And if it is a surprise, then I warn you this is how NUFC have played for around 3 years.

Worst thing is, Stoke have looked pretty poor too, but we still don't look like creating anything.

And why aren't we setting Williamson on the big men? First Pelle, and now Crouch. Colo should not be marking big men. If Willo can't do that, then what good is he?

 

I actually think that if we lose this game pardew will be sacked. Ashley is turning up to the games to assess things. He has no other reason too. He is reviewing his asset. He won't watch that crap for much longer. He will also sack the scouts. They have bought two duds for well over 14 million of Ashley's hard spawned millions and he won't be happy. The club needs changes.

 

Saw the last 15 minutes. We look a team with no confidence & no inspiration - and this kind of team usually puts about 10 men behind the ball at all times ...

 

At least we always had the hoof it up field plan...even that's gone now
