Any idea where he is? If not then Onouha for Ferdinand, which I have been campaigning for, for some time.
The OP says we need Clint back. He started 3 games ago against Man United and was taken off at half time with the score at 3-0. Don't get me wrong, I like Clint and I particularly like his attitude and enthusiasm. However, just like Rio, his better days are behind him unfortunately. Our defence needs Onouha in it, not Clint.
Inclined to agree that Onuha is the man to have partnering Caulker in the centre. I have seen too many mishaps, poor challenges and in some instances complete lack of awareness of the danger from Ferdinand to be convinced that he should be a first choice centre back. I would add that Clint also displays a greater passion than Rio although I accept that Rio may be a better quality player and as we have seen from Leicester, Southampton, Palace and others, passion and determination can sometimes make up for quality.
The only way to get Hill in the team is to go back to 3-5-2 Onuoha-Caulker- Hill should do a good job. Then we don't need to play fullbacks which is good because we don't have any
I really can't see 352 coming back any time soon with Harold.......If it does then the 35/36 year old has to be in the middle of the 3 with Caulker & Ned either side......
Don't be daft Clint Hill is not anywhere near Rio or Caulker. Both Rio and Caulker will form a solid partnership in the next six games IMO Clint Hill has massive limits but that doesn't take away his brilliant desire … desire v skill .. i take skill every time
Na. A skillful player without desire is worse than useless because as well as doing nothing on the pitch, they create disharmony within the group aswell. Desire is your starting point. Everything else follows thereafter
1:21, 2:12 i'm on from the start Honky Tonks
