Todays teenagers are no better or no worse than at any other time/generation. The human race will always throw up exceptions, but most teenagers that i come into contact with are pretty decent, interesting and, shock of shocks, polite, kids !
Teenagers aren't any worse than before...it is just that the worst now have a voice. Nasty people used to just talk to people like themselves or kept quiet because someone would smack them in the mouth...now they can post anonymous bile on social media. As dman said, most young people that we meet are fine.,just like any age group.
Loving it...the Sun have suggested that Europe should play Rest of the World in the Ryder Cup. The reason I love it....because I remember the humiliation when the USA said that GB were no opposition and that European players should be included. What a good decision that was
Ergh just seena vid of a Apache helicopter tearing apart some ISIS. Didn't realise what it was until I saw about 100 guys getting ripped in half.
I can remember idolising the Beatles...lots of girls screaming and fainting. The difference is that we still kept a grip on reality and had ambitions for ourselves. There is the saying that any woman who wants to be like a man lacks ambition. I know it's a joke, but it is a shame that young girls see nothing wrong with getting legless and throwing up in the street. And the empty headed ones who think that being famous is an end in itself without seeing that being famous for something admirable is better. Shame that it is this minority which grab the headlines.
Who even knew that Peugeot *did* music???! http://peugeotmusic.com/selected-by-peugeot/rocknroll/emerging-talent/fable/
I know it's not allowed to tell sexist jokes but my wife just told me this one: Why is it that women can spot another woman's hair on your shirt but can't see a lamp-post when parking?
Just read on SainstWeb that Ex-Saints now have 5 Presidential Suite tickets to act as ambassadors...bit different from the Cortese era (though he admittedly was complaining about ex-players being paid serious money rather than getting free tickets). Also mentioned that someone who has done sign writing for years received 2 tickets for the Directors' Box as reward for service. Good to hear.
Oh dear, so I go to print my boarding passes for my trip to the office in France tomorrow and.... .... I had booked them for 4pm today! Oops
