Check post 1271 guys. It proves DMW is not Lyalin...the night DT was voted off DMW said he'd protect LESS THAN and yet LESS THAN was still assassinated.

 

Still trying. I made a flippant remark about protecting Less Than. It is correct that I didn't protect Less Than.

GCB - Just one simple question, if I'm not Lyallin, who is? No one else has claimed to be Lyallin in the course of the game. Surely by now they'd have revealed themselves.

By the way I now know Gordievsky can be only one of two people. I have a strong suspicion who it is, but it can only be Trev or Tasty. If Trev remains Jim's pick he will be protected tonight. It could be Roland but Roland was convinced I was KGB at an earlier stage and would have tried to assassinate me.

I'm now pretty sure me Trev and Tasty are all BI.

Trev, DPP, Jim, Tasty, Roland - If any of you are Lyallin as GCB suggests, I suggest you make the claim now. It makes no difference to stay in the shadows. We can end GCB's charade pretty quickly. I know I'm Lyallin!

GCB - A good thing when trying to keep cover, is not to try so hard! I will post the case against GCB in a seperate post. It is pretty damning.

 

Why would you not protect anyone? It renders your power useless.

It's hardly a flippant remark. You said you'd protect the only person you could be certain was BI so why not do that? It would be better protecting somebody rather than nobody.

The fact I've pushed so hard for you to go shows I'm BI as any member of KGB would be a lot more subtle (such as yourself who has turned the tables on me last minute).

Explain to me why you didn't protect anyone when you were certain they were MI5?

I do accept you're on your way to Stoke today, but something is not right, and I fully expect that won't be your last post. You've tied yourself in knots over the last 24hrs.

 

I am not Lyalin. Anyone else wants to claim that honour before I vote?

 

I realise this is not important because of the Lyallin out strategy I have developed but here is my reasoning for GCB:

GCB – The case against

1. I won’t bother doing this chronologically, I’ll go straight for the juglar! The Obi vote off. There was simply no justifiable reason for voting anyone but Obi once we had him bang to rights. It went from what could be a crusade against me, to something much more sinister.

2. The last minute change to Obi in the voting once he realised others weren’t budging. The reason?

“It doesn't change the vote so don't read too much in to this but I change to Obi.
I outed Pulp for us guys, nobody was going to vote for him until I randomly selected him. If it was a play then I'd have killed a normal KGB member and not Maclean. I was also suspicious of DMW before I was killed the first time when it's been proven I was MI5.If you then add that DT has since been confirmed as MI6 and has told us to vote DMW and the PM I had from JPF when I died telling me I was on the right track they're the reasons I've been voting DMW.If you're to kill me tomorrow then I implore that you also assassinate someone else, preferably DMW because if I'm the only death tomorrow then we will LOSE”

Anyone else think this looks suspect besides me?

3. Under the pump last night as I grilled him over several subjects, holes started to appear left, right and centre. He claimed there were KGB agents with no special powers. There are none. Every KGB has a special power even if only to investigate! He responded by claiming it was the one who had been converted, we don’t know if anyone has been converted. I believe they probably have as Obi would surely have used it on his night of demise.

4. His unhealthy obsession with me was disturbing when he was BI. When he was killed off and came back, his obsession became relentless. It had credibility, albeit flimsy, until Obi’s death. Then we had his last minute switch, but even more importantly, we uncovered Philby, who according to his theory was me. Smoke and mirrors in operation – the basis for his whole story/theory has been shot to bits by Obi being Philby!

5. I’m told I’m not Oleg Lyallin. All evidence we have says I am. However I stumbled upon something earlier, which I should have realised earlier, if I’m not Lyallin. Who is? We have no inactive players now, and none of you have claimed to be Lyallin. There is nothing to fear by unveiling yourself now – their assassin is dead! Roland has already admitted to not being Lyallin.

6. This is not incriminating in itself because I do believe he is genuinely going to Stoke. However Sunday night he claims he won’t be on at all cause leaving for Stoke. On this morning making a last ditch effort. Now saying he won’t be on again but leaves “probably” in there just in case its worth giving it one last shot i.e. we split

7. He did suggest Pulp. We thought we scored because it was Maclean but actually at this stage of the game, he’s lost his effectiveness somewhat. It was clever from the KGB, but not quite clever enough. They have played a strong game.

8. The key to the end is them splitting the votes. We don’t need to get sucked in. I have plan, one which they haven’t seen coming. One which GCB has unwittingly given us if their ploy to split us works out.

I take on board all DMW says with regard to GCB and vice versa.

There is still at least one if not two KGB agents that I am not 100% sure about.

One I am 100% sure about is Jim.

Rather than split the BI vote I suggest all BI vote for Jim. I have detailed previously why I am sure but very briefly look at his voting and non voting. If we all vote Jim then we are still alive for another day. Therefore DMW and others please vote for Jim if you don't want the BI vote split.

If you are not going to vote Jim please spell out why. Not why you are voting for someone else but why you are not willing to vote Jim tonight. DMW and GCB are arguing as to which of them is KGB. One is if not both but that still leaves other KGB capable of being voted off if we maintain unity.

Well, to briefly summarise, it all started with post No 1. when JPF started outlining the game rules. What he said was this...

 

Tasty, DPP, Jim - it really is important you declare if you are Lyallin. I know you're not but we must confirm as it is key to my case against GCB. Trev and Roland have both said no. I believe we have this now.

Trev - I fully understand your desire to kill Jim. That switch was suspicious and his voting is too. I just think the more damning switch was GCB's. Obi was KGB, everyone knew, it was some brazen brinkmanship to force a switch and then a case of "thou dost protest too much" That plus this obsession with me and not being Lyallin. If we can prove that I am Lyallin which we can if the other 3 declare, then GCB is banged to rights. He will have gone from me being Philby, to not being Lyallin, plus I seem to remember a bit of Maclean thrown in there somewhere .

Whatever we do BI, we must do it as a pack. So either you or me will have to concede ground Trev for the greater good. We cannot have a split vote as I suspect that this is GCB's (and the KGB) objective.

 

I agree that we could do with comments from those three. If neither declare themselves as Lyalin, then we have fairly clear path here. I don't understand why no-one has at least tried to counter DMW's claim, even with a lie!!

At the very most I was bending the truth.

 

It will be interesting to see. You have kind of outed one of my ploys here but no harm in the KGB knowing really. They still have to declare to avoid suspicion. Just remember fellas though, we already know if you have claimed to be otherwise earlier! I'm feeling a warm glow is not far off here.
