Always love those...when we win. Should have added the rider that there were some scenes that could be upsetting....poor JWP on crutches.

We are going to have to raise the dressing room doors...Forster had to duck :).

When I played I used to hate it when the guy on crutches turned up. There but for the grace of god etc.

    Bloody lightweights!
I turned up to watch my team in the 80s after breaking my leg. Played 90 mins with my leg in plaster hopping around the centre circle as they were a man short. Refs wouldn't allow it now of course.

    Love Wanyama's sexy walk.

When I played injuries were either....

    Ankle knock
    Knee knock
    Leg strain
    Broken bone
    Death

Hamstrings, ligaments, metatarsals etc etc, hadn't been invented then.

You omit the dreaded "groin" strain and the resultant quips and lewd suggestions.

No one talked about the groin area in those days, unless it was some boasting in the showers.

I remember when Terry Paine strained an adductor muscle in the late 60's and missed his first game for about 4 seasons. Nobody had the faintest idea what it was he'd done, turned out it was a thigh muscle.

Love the big fella who materialises into the forgeround during the goals at 10:20 and 10:49.

How about the woman at the end who picks up her very nice grey inflated seat mattress..? Never thought of doing that. That must be very comfortable. :)

The thing that gets me about these videos is the amount of hand-shaking that goes on. Look at little Sammy Lee at the end, he's loving it
