When Tag wins the arc I will raise a nice glass of red to that. If for some reason she fails, its all your fault, and I will be drinking house red instead.

Well done Stick and City. Why did Paul Maloney not ask him for a jump at the last though? Almost throwing the race away.

    Nice treble Cityhull

Just watched the Newton Abbot replays, how good was Son Du Berlais in the first? Giving 6lbs to the 125 rated Val D'Arc and absolutely toyed with him. The winner will have to step out of novice company very soon but I'd be amazed if connections can't plot a nice handicap route for him through this season.

Keltus jumped out to the right at most of his fences, would like to see him go right-handed next time. But always 2nd best today to Court Minstrel who, apart from beign a little sketchy at the last, was very impressive. A couple of early markers for the Arkle?

Good call City Hull, as stick stated it looked all too obvious as well.

Well done on spotting it and putting them together.

I agree with the comment from Oddie about Son du Berlais, very very impressive. Does anyone know how much they paid for him in France?
