I had the unfortunate experiance of a fan sat next to me first half who was sucking on one of these things, the smell was disgusting when he blew the crap into the air. There was a guy about eight rows down sharing one with his mate and we could smell it back up in the stand. Infact i can smell it on my clothes as write this. Now i have no issue if people want to use these things, but why should non smokers have to put up with that, not to mention the crap they are putting out and we are forced to breath in. I lost both my mum,and dad, to the horrible ciggs culture, yes if people want to smoke no problem, but us non smokers should not have to accept people near us churning out the crap in the ground. We do not even now what is in these things, but by god they stink.
I completely agree as I had one two seats away. At half time I told him to clear off outside with all the other smokers. I will write to the club asking for them to be banned.
. I intend to tell the person near me at the next home game, very loudly, that he should go outside along with all the smokers. As there isn't any proof that it is not harmful, I work on the principle that it may well be and I don't want my lungs contaminated.
There is no smoking in any sports arena over here, indoors or outdoors, which is truly wonderful. Now if the games were any good, that would be even better.....
Same here Tampa, smoking is banned in all public restaurants, pubs etc. so no smoking at Ashton Gate within the stadium. Smokers are banished to the external areas. But these new nicotine vapour things are growing in popularity and emit a vapour as well as what comes out of the users lungs.
A Brian blessed lookalike in a ginger hat kept on having a puff and annoyed everyone around him today. Normally just twice a game I noticed it around 20 times today. Not nice!
Disgusting, how the club can allow it to continue is beyond belief, the smells are vile. Bristol Sport should ban these things from the ground.
