Today's little saga over we have a left back, no we don't have a left back raises an issue about transparency. (I don't mean that we have a transparent left back)

It was well trailed that we would be getting him, eg how nice it was to deal with a club that did business in the correct manner, price agreed, coming to Watford to talk terms today. All very encouraging and good PR for our hands on owner.

Nothing could have been said until the ink had dried on the contract, but then it would have looked as if nothing was happening, except people leaving.

The question in my mind is now that it has gone belly up, does the owner come out and tell us why?

 

what are the chances M Frenchie? Pretty slim i'd say. It's a bit of a blow, but by the sounds of it, much as we need a LB, he wasn't going to put the club first.

I have had my Horlicks and will have an early night. Another busy day today, how did I ever find time to go to work?

It helps if I get going early at this time of year before it gets too warm, but I have never been a morning person really. Don't mind some late nights as long as they are not followed by passing tractors first thing.

 

my dad used to love his Horlicks...personally i think it's gross lol...and since i discovered that the centre of Maltesers is Horlicks it's put me right off! lol

Bad news when a league 1 side seems a more attractive proposition than a championship one! So I surmise he wanted more than 5k a week! hope his left leg falls off!

 

Weird decision on his part, but if he's willing to go down a league for dosh, he's not who we want..

Hmm, fair enough, it sounds like they are not 100% on it. As if they are fairly sure he is leaving but there is nothing official yet. we shall see.

Collinge was well thought of , could be a big miss with such a small squad and apparantly an inability to bring in personnel that are not scottish! My concerned levels are going up again , Baz why did we lose a lb to a L1 side ,I would love to know how much extra Charlton could pay him!
