    Superb post mate.

I remember past games between us when loads of your lads/lasses have come onto our board to have a proper debate about the match - and there's been a brilliant, amicable discussion.

This evening for some reason a load of ****ers from your end - who of course are a minority, and we SAFC have our minority of idiots too - came on, so the thread degenerated into abuse.

Good to see a top post from you.

Cheers Dave - my thoughts exactly - would be great if there was a magic button we could press to consign all the w**kers to a little virtual school playground so they could pull each others hair to their hearts content and leave the rest of us to debate the match sensibly! ;) <cheers>

I'd started to think that Swans fans must be arrogant dickheads before you showed up. Good post mate. Can you do me a favour though and go round to some of your lads' houses and try to extract their heads from their own anuses. I'm concerned for their safety, they don't seem to know that they can't breathe up there.

The thing is mate, hardly any of them speak Welsh, they choose to use our language, surprise surprise <doh>

If they're so proud to be Welsh, and speak the language, why have they chosen to call the club Swansea, the English spelling?

If they were true to their 'principles' they'd call it Abertawe.

Swansea have taken 1 point from the last 9, failed to score in their last 2 games and had two players sent off for persistent fouling.

Yet we're supposed to regard that as 'the beautiful game' ......... and we thought the Mags were deluded <doh>

I class them in the same category as us, the group beneath the top 7, they don't particularly impress me, they've got some quality players but then so has everybody including us. Ideas above their stations mate, well and truely

They're certainly not what they used to be a short while back.

They're much dirtier & sly, under Monk, and the sendings off will disrupt them eventually.

There's no way they'll finish anywhere near where they currently are.

Don't judge us on the game against you Smug - we were ****e and you shoulda turned us over! But I believe we are better than 'a short while back' but agree with Funk - we are deffo in the group beneath the top 7 and realistically that is all we can aspire to. We are a team that has 20% of shares held by supporters trust and that is why we will never sell out to a multi millionaire who just wants a toy to play with! We went through all the **** 10 years + ago, into admin and nearly into non existence but hung on in and clawed our way back up the ladder! You may think we are dirty Smug, but if you look objectively at that game you will see that we were just naive! Rangel got booked stupidly for throwing the ball away (yes, it was a yellow), the second yellow was 50/50 but what my fellow Swans seem to forget was that he was given a warning seconds before the second yellow - so have no problem with the sending off! But he is not a dirty player, and we are not a dirty team.

I agree with you Smug - we will not finish anywhere near where we currently are, but I would happily take 17th, as I would every season, to ensure another year in the top league in the world! I would guess that you would be of a similar mind! And Funk - some posters may have ideas above their station - but not me - I have supported Swansea through thick and thin and have traveled to some god forsaken **** holes supporting my team. Being in the Premier League is a privilege and one that I would never take for granted - I am loving going to premier league grounds and watching my team play sides that I had previously only seen on Match of the Day! Makes a welcome change from Preston on a wet and windy Wednesday night!

So please don't look down upon us Premier League newbies - we've paid our dues and put up with years of **** and bollox to get where we are now! Saturday's game between us two was **** - but we both have very good teams that have the quality to thrive in this league! Good luck to you Mackems - hope you can wish us the same - starting with our game against your beloved Magpies next Saturday!! ;)

I'm not mate, I'm judging you on the last 3 matches and beyond.

IMO Sunderland didn't allow you to play the game you wanted so you looked bad. In the Southampton & Chelsea games you only managed a couple of on target shots and the same against us. I don't think you win many corners and won't with the way you play, quick attacks but with few players involved.

I actually meant more sly, posh word for cheating, than dirty.

Every corner or free kick involves an obviously pre-planned routine of holding, shirt pulling and blocking off. The Swansea players are continually whinging at the referee & assistants which obviously comes from the manager who was whining about the length of the grass afterwards.
It's a general pettiness that irritated me and it's not naive, the players know when they're deliberately disrupting the game and feigning injury whenever Sunderland built up momentum.

And don't think I look down on you, I just respond in kind to the kind of humourless wums we get on here, you've had a decent response from people because you seem like a decent lad.
