Worth a punt do you think?
Surely his fee will be canny cheap now.
If he signed on a 'pay as you are fit and able to play' basis and on sensible rates I'd take a punt.

No point spending out with his injury record, but pay as you play might work. But then would he risk that kind of contract himself?

    I'd have him back 100%.

But what if DMW had suggested it first? Would you still go for it? <laugh>

I'd have him back too - as long as it wasn't a stupid fee. It could be a benefit all round. AC definitely needs something special to revive his career and coming home might be what he needs.

I'd have him back for a few mil as a plan B. He can seriously change games and is the best in the league at what he does.

I think a lot of his injuries are down to poor training but at Newcastle he'll take it more seriously.

Pity he would be coming to Newcastle then as we are notorious for injuries and crap coaching!

He would still have Pardew as coach though.

West Ham will put Andy Carroll up for sale in January.
But just who do the Hammers offload the injury-stricken striker to?
Newcastle would take him back, but only if he agreed to drop his wages - which are in the region of £85,000-a-week.
They would only be prepared to pay a transfer fee around £8million for a player they sold to Liverpool for £35m.

The word on the street down in the smoke Is ac is not injuired but fighting some form of addiction (unsure of what sort)and the club don't want it let out as it would effect his future transfer fee.

No point getting him back until we find someone who can put a decent ball into the box.

Pardew will be gone by Christmas. New manager brings back local lad and fans favourite and all is well with the Geordie masses again. We secure PL survival in the penultimate game of the season and big things are promised for next season.
