when he came on yesterday i just knew we were going to have a bad patch let's have Le Fondre or Guerra playing instead of him because imo he's just shocking
He was worse than terrible before being correctly subbed v Bournemouth before half time. He looked a pub player, macheda replaced him and improved things significantly. So based on the last game Macheda replacing jones was the right call.
Bit harsh.He didnt play well but hes not match fit and struggled to get into the pace of the game. However he took his" goal" superbly. Ive seen the replay. Terrible decision by the linesman.
Guerra was our best player albeit for 20 minutes v Boro but was by ball accounts terrible v B'mouth. Not even on the bench v Sheff Wed. Must be a reason off the pitch why he's not getting a look in? Not really sure why he was signed. Macheda needs balls played in front of him. R Morrison gave him a chance, he took it, and was wrongly chalked off. We'll see the best of him if R Morrison gets the ball. Also R Morrison allows Daehli more space.
I think the best foil for Jones up top is Maynard, give him a run in the team and he will score lots of goals.
OGS's last 10 minutes were his best by far. our front line should always be.. le fondre , Jones, Guerra
