If you want to see a great sporting performance, watch Rory McIlroy v Ricky Fowler at the moment. Rory 5 up after 6 holes. Fowler should do the honourable thing and concede the whole match as he is being completely outclassed.

If Real Madrid had been playing Levante last week, Ronaldo and Bale would have had five goals each. The big boys beat up on the also-rans every week – that is how Messi and Ronaldo have fifty goals a year. Just remind me what Barcelona won last season. If I recall La Liga was a three horse race and they were third best. The trophy cabinet will be empty again unless Suarez can salvage something.

PSG play in a league that is a two horse race and the other horse only has three legs after selling Falcao to Old Trafford, so I guess they can afford to concentrate on the Champions’ League for now.

Sky sports trying to their best to make it sound tight but when Kaymer and Mcilroy win, we'll only need 4 halves from 10 matches.

So because they won nothing last season your reasoning is they'll do the same again? I guess on that basis Chelsea will win **** all aswell then? Atletico's season last year was a freak they won't finish close in the league and will get no where near the champions league final. Real threw the league away and then Barca only blew it in the last game when Atletico managed to hold them to a draw. I'm not saying PSG can't or won't beat Barca this week I just disagree with your thinking that Barca are **** and past it

Qualify was some price considering the Moyglare form.

    2/5 Ol Man River

3/1 Tombeliane has to be the bet now, ol man one of obriens better ones I think but has to step up big style on the form in the book to justify those prices

What a win by Mcdowell - 4 down early on. Ryder Cup retained I would say!

The comebacks from McDowell and Rose have been simply sensational. This could end up a thrashing!

I'd say, off that, he's better than JFK. I'd love to see them face off.

Easy does it Ol Man. Strange change of tactics from Smullen, doing the pacemakers job for him.

Winner looks a nice one for next year.

Okay, so Aidan O’Brien virtually farms the Beresford Stakes and some decent types have won it before. Today Ol’ Man River won with the minimum of fuss, had a huge price tag and is impeccably bred. Let us hope that the trainer can keep his trap shut and he turns out to be the real deal next season.

Backed Gratzie that won the 3:20 at Epsom. Have put some of it back on Aqua Ardens in the last. I guess I will be in stick’s bad books if it beats Brocklebank again.
