I'm not spinning anything. I said we were poor today, you were the one who said that we 'deserved' to win.

You are spinning, spinning this unbeaten nonsense and pretending we have a chance at the title.

Yeah, I'm still not sure about these "clear cut chances" that you're mentioning but then again I didn't see what was going on behind Kaboul just him getting up and heading the ball away about 20 times. I do agree that had you taken the lead we would have struggled to apply the same pressure. I also think you'd have needed something special to take the lead against us today given how well we were defending.

It's funny though, as bad as we were against West Brom, Lescott still made 3 great goal saving interventions in the game and there was a moment where Foster made 2 great saves in a matter of seconds. I guess it's a similar frustration, the chance ultimately turns into something barely notable when a defender gets there before the attacker but it's whole different story if they don't read the game as well.

There were two in particular where Kaboul cut out a cross that would have gone straight to Welbeck 5 yards out, they were the clearest chances. But all afternoon he was cutting out the final ball, clearing crosses and tidying up in your box.

Usually he is a lump of ****, what happened today ?

Usually Sp*rs play quite a high line and he is less effective due to lack of pace. Same with Dawson and a few of their other defenders last season. What we saw today was surprising from them. Showed a bit of tactical awareness that was lacking under AVB and Sherwood so while I will never be singing their praises, fair play to them for actually not rolling over for once.

Kaboul looked good because Spurs played tactics that suited him. Spurs change tactics to play Arsenal and they come away with a point. That's good football, smart football. Wenger thinks tactics are great - they keep your breath fresh for 2 hours in just 2 calories.

I thought we were too slow today. We kept holding the play up when we should have been trying to release Welbeck and our pacey players. Kaboul and Vertonghen are not the quickest CBs and we could have had more success turning them around to face their goal instead of firing hopeful balls into a crowded box when our attacking players were outnumbered.

I said on our board that I haven't seen a performance like that from a Spurs defender since Gallas in the win at Old Trafford. It was similar circumstances as Gallas looked like his time was up but sitting back suited him as it meant it took out the factor of his legs having gone and allowed him to use all his experience in clearing the danger. It was probably Gallas' only good performance of that season. I hope I'm wrong but I think Kaboul's heading the same way, he was once one of our fastest players and very composed, if a bit dodgy when it came to marking at times, and he's not looked the same since the succession of injuries that go back to AVB's first game in charge.

Have to disagree with this. The whaling we see (including from me) is in fact due there not being a genuine chalange for the league title, neverm ind a win, for some considerable time. Year after year we see teh same thing ... do well enough againts the lessser teams, blow it big-time against the bigger teams, do just enough to scrape 4th, either by climbing to 4th from behind, or by gently paracguting into 4th from a higher position from February-May.

This season has all the hallmarks of a similary woeful tail of last 16 Champions league exit and fading title challenge.

That's why folk on here are upset. You can bet your house on Arsenal not challenging for the league.

There won't be no fading out of the league title come February this year, it's already over, the best we can hope for is either 3rd or 4th.

Yep. Honestly speaking based on the season so far our best midfield trio would be Diaby, Wilshere and Ozil/Cazorla though I feel we may see Oxo at CM at the Bridge.

Yeah. Diaby it is. Pretty sure we didn't lose to Chavski last time he played against them. Can't even remember. It's been years.

Wenger has said Diaby isn't fit enough to start.
