I'm drinking that Lock Ochry, or whatever it is from Lidl. It's that whisky which is in a triangular cross section bottle and for change from £14 it certainly punches above its weight. It's highly recommended.

As for the music. Alex Lifeson's album, Victor, arrived this morning from Japan and I am about to put it on now.

Inycon Sangiovese - I suggest any red wine lover to give the Sangiovese grape a chance. Love it. My new Barolo

My knowledge of rock/ metal isn't limited but doesn't stretch beyond things like alice in chains (grunge I know) and sun 0 )) (drone metal I think) but that is slick, I could sit and listen to that...cant believe I've never listened to judas priest really

I'm sat here drinking wine and listening to that freddie gibbs and madlib, pinata, great hip hop albums being so rare and the fact its such an obvious classic makes me quite emotional

Also drawing summin and watching jaws (the blu ray is amazing, one of the best I've seen)

Sat in a class hotel just off Leicester Square right now with a Heineken. Down with the kids (nee woman) to see the Imperial War Museum and other bits. All the WW2 and Spy stuff was sublime. Hardly any Brits so I feel like a celeb :)

    There can be only one.
    Barolo is the premier.
Off topic you like the rum... Tried the Ron Jeremy spiced one the other day in a Harrogate blues bar... Quite nice at 47 percent..

Ok, so I'm a Barolo fan for sure, pick up Malbec (aged) for more quaffing (which I'm on tonight) but can I recommend the Mourvedre grape variety as well.

Listening to a selection of Deep House tracks via Beatport.

Tonight was Holsten Pils and a Gran Reserva Navarra with a delicate ear bashing from Black Sabbath and Motorhead.

Currently at a house party, drinking Stella and listening to poor beyonce remixes. Had some fit cider earlier, so smashed

Lovely stuff. I have tried to stop drinking so much rum but it is addictive. I love Barolo. Just trying new ones and this Sangiovese is well worth a go. I'm gonna try Roland's suggested grape too.
