Nothing wrong with a draw away to Arsenal, but we could have won and should have won.

If you'd have offered me 1-1 before the start, I'd have bitten your hand off. So, all in all, not so bad.

Which doesn't say much about our transfer policy as we tend to get overloaded with midifielders yet our central midfield is severely lacking in quality. Too much muscle and not enough guile.

Why Eriksen was on the left is beyond me. And no sign of the Pochettino "pressing" game either,

Pochettino has a plan B then. Thought we were unlucky with the goal they scored as it took a deflection straight to their striker who then missed it only for it to fall to Chamberlain. That kind of thing becomes more likely to happen the more attacks the opposition get, I suppose. Not how I want our team to play long term but needs must and Wenger dropping Sanchez and leaving out Cazorla in favour of 2 player who usually play deeper in midfield shows he didn't want to take risks either.

We defended excellently all game and but for a few poor moments in attack we could've had a couple in the first half. Got to be pleased with that, Kaboul man of the match, I thought he was done but he really stepped up with the best perfomance I've seen since Gallas at Old Trafford when we won under AVB.

He did okay, some good quick passes and runs going forward but a lot of his duties were defensive and he did well considering it's not really his strong point.

The same as AVB, get dominated and rely on the outstanding talent to do something special. AVB had Bale, Pochettino has Chadli.

Kaboul put in a shift today.
Fortunately for his legs there won't be too many games like that this season.

And as always, Lloris was there to pull off outstanding saves. He is an outstanding keeper and if we don't get top four (which we won't) then at least when he leaves he can say he has performed to a high standard. No one can ever question his commitment or suggest he allowed transfer talk to affect his performances, unlike certain other players.

Same as Mourinho more like, sit back, defend well and hit them on the counter. AVB never had us do that he always had us pushing up high and trying to dominate possession.

The difference is Mourinho would set his team out to sit back, soak up pressure and hit on the counter. Pochettinos "plan b" same as AVB is when the high pressing game doesn't work, both managers haven't a clue what to do other then sulk on the touchline and hope someone comes up with some quality.

What did we do if not soak up pressure? I'm not sure if you're on the wind up or determined to be negative, to be honest.

Did anyone else think Lamela was dreadful today? Wasteful in possession, some poor passes and indecision. He seems to try to do too much rather than do the simple stuff right.

Ironic that the Spurs goal came from some serious pressing when the Goons were trying
to play tika-taka in their own third of the pitch.

Mourinho seems to do o.k. For someone who doesn't know what to do but sulk on the touchline. Just as well for the rest of us really!....
