Sounds like we've played much better 2nd half.

    Something to build on?

Not terrible IMO - the result. We did so much better 2nd half. With Barton / Adel / Hoillet starting possibly there is more potential. We seemed to have learnt a bit.

Head's dropped after their 2nd goal.

Definately, not too bothered about the score now nut we've showed that when we want to be bothered, then we can compete.

Not sure if its Harry or what but we have the ability, just something lacking.
Krank, Traore, and Henry were very good. Rio needs to have a rest,

we could have scored but i think overall 2-1 was the fair result. They are a goal better than us. We need to mix it a bit more and work on our tactics and style. But we can still be ok with the right man in charge....Up for debate who that is ? <ok>

Better , but the concern is if Austin does get injured we have some trouble , despite Zamora doing well for the short time he was on. Pluses Krankjar again , Traore and Henry

Rio shoulnt start next week. Onouha in

Green's done well at times but again made crucial mistake for their 1st goal. Think McCarty should be given a go.

    Isla and Traore looked better

Hoilett is brainless - he should be spending 2 hours a day practising that cut in and shoot that he never manages to get right despite trying it at least once every game. Phillips hasn't been good enough- think that's our weakest area. Need Adel back and fit because their isn't enough creativity in our side.

Whenever we go behind it feels like we've got no real chance of getting back into it but worst of al is that our lack of creativity and ambition means that when its level we don't look like scoring to take control of a game

    Not good enough Harry

Thought we looked good second half, definitely creating more, running at them and can't fault the effort at all. How is Rio keeping Nedum out and how many more games does he need to underperform before he's dropped? Also you want to see that 2nd half performance run into the next game and after three years of trying I'm not sure it will happen. Here's hoping....

Not too bad. Saints deserved it overall, but it wasn't the thumping many feared. Positives were Krancjar, traore, Henry, scoring away. Hoilett also looked up for it when he came on. I'm not disheartened by that result, I think we are learning and moving in the right direction.

We only looked like doing something when we were behind an chasing the game- some credit for that BUT we need to play like that when its level or one day maybe when we're leading in a game!!

Not the end of the world, definitely a more spirited away performance than at Spurs & Man Utd. Although Saints edged the play, if Niko's free kick had gone in and we came away with a 2-2 result and a point, we'd all be patting ourselves on the back.

agree with you totally mate..Now if you can get someone to tell the FAt Marrocan prick to get off the burgers, then we are there. Also ask hin to try every now and again and possibly turn up for training on time...that would be nice for the rest of the team
If he's as good as he thinks he is, then let him go prove it to Vargas....

Apart from that we'll be ok. the game was calling out for a decent creative Prem midfielder....unfortunately, we dont have one......yet

EDIT: PD. I really would love AT to do it....HONESTLY

    Saints fan in peace.
As much as I hate Twitchy; I've got a little soft spot for you guys as I used to live on Loftus road. Holding hands up and have to say you guys had me very worried second half. First half you were pretty rubbish but I think that was more due to our pace. You'll be fine this season if you continue with that 2nd half performance.

2 great goals, an excellent match, best of luck with rest of season.

Only watched in part due partly to work, and partly knew as soon as we conceded the second we wouldn't get back into it. No flare in the side to spark something magical...as others have said, please bring back Adel!
