Cannot say I am surprised we threw it away.. Maybe a point gained in the end given the reports of the 2nd half! Shame after a bright start.
Had to go away again after they got their first. I think I'm glad I did, sounds as though we were under the cosh 2nd half. I'm relieved to find we only conceded one more, so point gained on 2nd half, but overall, not pleased at all about throwing away a two goal lead. Where is the consstency?
Shame that YET again we cannot bury a 2-0 lead. Very frustrating. That said if offered 2-2 at 3pm I think most of us would have taken it. Either being 2-0 up was real flattery or we still don't have the capacity to close out a game. Personally I find it hard to fathom given our squad.
Well, that was a bit of a day! Traffic up to Blackburn was awful and after many detours we got there with 20 minus to spare, only to realise we'd left the tickets in the car over a mile away and up a steep hill! My friend ran back to get them while I negotiated with the car park outside the ground and they let us being the car in for free! The match itself was a frustration! Anya, Tozser and Murray were hugely disappointing, the Murray stories of Friday nights in pub won't go away, and Ighalo was nothing less than dreadful. However, our goals were first class and Vydra was mom for me with paredes a cloud second. Our midfield needs a lot of work though and pudil was at fault for their second losing the ball so easily before they countered perfectly. We should be playing much better and are definitely riding our luck! Onwards and upwards. We definitely are in need of a captain and a manager!
Not true tbh, IMO our problem is our midfield.. We are weak , and our passing is hopeless at times. We rarely win a loose ball in the middle of the park and don't even start me on headers! Lol
The injury to fessi took a while to sort but the ref, who started the first half well, lost it in the second.
He went to pot!! He has Forestieri on the floor at his feet clutching his face and he choses to play on. He doesnt have to stop it and send the player off, but simply allow Fernando to recieve treatment. Its clear he was not play acting, but was caught in the face!
