Defining game this for us. If we do get stuffed theres going to be a reet tear up on the training pitch. Who's the leader, Curtis has to get his head out of his arse and be the player he was last season. Start bollocking players and lead by example. Terry's still the guvnor at Chelsea, Davies needs to do that today for his team.

I have a sneaky feeling for a 2-1 win for us. But i think if we did get a drubbing it would be the catalyst we need to get us going.

Ramirez seems to have a groin strain which is a pity. Meyler may not be fit either, got his detractors on here but I'd play him and drop Jake. Great engine and we need that today as we wont have the ball much.

Jelavic to terrorise Kompany again, not many have done that. Hudd and Jelavic to score.

    Mac
    Dawson Chezz Davies
    Elmo Robbo
    Hudd
    Jake Diame
    Hernandez Jelavic

Time for one of those backs to the wall, hold on to what we've got, bodies on the line, grit, fire and determination performances that bagged us points last season.

    Hoping for a draw.

Hernandez seems to be a shoe in according to most on here.

He looked a million miles away last weekend.

Bench? Gradual introduction over next few games?

I agree but he needs to keep playing to get the experience, we need his pace today to relieve pressure. Bring Arfur on to hold the ball and win free kicks in the last 20 minutes.

Might sound obvious but the first 20 minutes are vital.

Concede in that time and we'll get arse holed.

    Proper arse holed.

This is likely I reckon, tho I would stick Brady in for Robbo - bit stronger & uses the ball a bit better, his assist & goal midweek might get him the nod

Yeah, my thoughts exactly, HBA is going to be best used as an impact sub for a few weeks yet but we need to give Hernandez plenty of game time to get up to speed quickly.

Today we're playing the champions and despite having one of the smallest grounds in the league, you can pay on the gate. £50 is simply too much.

Couldn't agree more - we have lost touch with who are supporters (customers) are.

Hopefully we can put in a good performance and give them a game. Would hate it to be a ridiculous score line..

I think everyone knew that anyway. This just confirms it.

We need to be at it from the first whistle to the last in order to have any chance of a result today - Diame or Livermore winning an early crunching tackle would be great :D

Agreed. Think the cheap ones are too cheap and the expensive ones .........

    Should be £21 £31 £41.

Is it just so they can charge the opposition 50 quid?

The Hunter is (are?) coming! "The" Tigers are nearing extinction but may be replaced by the genetically-modified "Hull" Tigers; a stronger, faster, more clinical beast but with greater scope for genetic abnormalities due to its lack of evolutionary breeding.

It sounds like Carmine may be suggesting "Hull" Tigers are a third generation Tigers, with the transitionary, second generation Tigers being "Red Bottom" FC.

I think £20/£30/£40 would be far better.

Obviously the away fans get charged these prices, but we're charging a lot more than they charge us, at least for most of the Cat A games.

Watching the live TV transmission starting at midnight with the guy from next door - a Manchester City fan old enough to have seen Frank Swift play for them. Best we will do is a score draw.

FFS everyone they got beaten at home by Stoke 4 weeks ago.

So what if they stuck 7 by a **** Wensdee side and silva and Aguero didnt play but are fit today.

So what if Silva gave probably the finest display witnessed at the KC last season.

I've forgotten what my point was.........

still gonna be 2-1 to us
