Blimey. I had pauses the golf for some domestic duties and just finished watching the live coverage. That was pretty tense and its only day 1.
Felt sorry for Poulter (even though he's a gooner), took a right tonking. A Ryder Cup icon but his form has been poor all year, will get one more chance tomorrow at best and obviously the singles on Sunday in which he has a 100% record. Europe winning the Ryder Cup without Poulter delivering a point is unthinkable.
