You can tell West Ham have had a good result because Big Sam's spouting his big mouth off again like he's some sort of oracle. Today's he's been saying how United are panicking and he fully expects his team to go and cause them problems. Well let's see who's panicking when Sam arrives at Old Trafford and realises we don't do chips anymore. On a serious note though I can't see any other result than a United win. We were unlucky last week and at home with the attacking talent we have I think we really can go toe to toe with these sorts of sides and come out on top. 3 points is the key and I can see us getting them with a good 4 2 or 3 1 win. Talking about last week, my video blog is up and running for those interested. I take a look at the weekend fixtures and also discuss the horror show that is Clattenburg. What was he thinking??? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1DOeqwRE8ac
It was all over the reputable sports sites yesterday and I've dug out a direct quote here. 'There was a complacency by United in not going out and delivering the signings David (Moyes) felt he needed,' the West Ham manager said. 'Now there's a panic on.' Admittedly he appears to be using it to support his mate Moyes but he is implying that there is a Panic on at United now. Something I totally disagree with and not wise words before you visit the wounded animal in their own lair.
That was quite embarrasing to watch if I'm honest. Cringeworthy is apt. The set and especially the fake window
Just to add to the West Ham game, they have a few decent players this season, fully capable of getting in behind you, and you have 1 fully fit CB and fat kid at LB - I can't see anything past a draw or a West Ham win. BTW - Every game this season I've predicted a Utd win so I'm not wumming. I never Wum...
united only have one fit CB according to the tactical genius himself, so yes united are in a lot of trouble. still think you'll beat west ham. lucky you've had an easy start to the campaign or you'd be mid table.. o wait
To be (slightly) fairer to him, the daily fail which published this article deliberately cocked it up as usual. He said that United panicked after Moyes and reported it INSIDE the article. The headline which they thought would grab more attention was of course United panicked after spending £150m with LVG.
I'm a hammer and I can't see us winning this game, I could see us coming back from 2-0 down and drawing, or losing 3-2 after being 2 up, but I can't see us winning. We play decent football now we have the players who can, but if we take the lead Sam will try and shut up the shop, and with your attack that would fail. the best way to beat you is to continually attack, I don't think sam will do that.
Your football this season is much improved and you outplayed Pool for much of the match last week. This weeks game all depends on our ability to keep the ball in midfield and attack, if we do it well we will win, if we give it away as often and as easily as we did last week you have a very good chance of beating us
What about something like this ----------------------de gea Rafael----- thorpe----rojo----- shaw -------------Carrick--------blind -----Rooney----Herrera---di maria ----------------------Falcao Should be defensively sound.
Should just burst out of the blocks again and look for 2-3 early goals, then revert to type and shut up shop. Your defense is gash, worse than Pools.
Hence the much more solid midfield i suggested above. Its good cover for the defence and should help counter west hams quick attack. Herrera a deeper number 10.
