Off Topic Ranieri, Taylor, Drogs, Spy: KGB vs BI Game

I'd be happier voting for someone who has never voted like cbrad, but will go along with others if they think we should look elsewhere.

However, the whole point of my argument was that voting for the ones who never vote but do come online is much lower risk as it doesn't hurt our voting power and might unearth a hiding KGb.

Out of Jim and Pulp I have suspected both so would go with the concensus - but would want it noted that i'd be much happier going for cbrad.

 

Okay with me, I vote Pulp.

 

Why though? Those that never post or never view are much more likely to be MI5.

Those that view and post only occasionally are much more suspect because they only post to affect the game.

 

I will change my vote to Pulp

 

Going with the majority, no problem. My thinking was just out of fear of losing an active MI5.

 

Now we see if anyone comes on to try and save.

At least this way people have a choice which means there is room to interpret the voting, rather than when it is a landslide.

 

It will also be interesting to see if anyone can't quite make it online in time to have to face a difficult decision.

Very possibly. which is why, even if Pulp is the wrong guess, I do think this could be the way to go.

 

I don't see how, there are more BI than KGB so by guessing we're more likely to hit our own.

 

Not arguing here - genuine question: Do you believe all 5 KGB (assuming a convert) are actively posting and voting?

I believe four are posting with one staying silent as part of their game plan.

 

There aren't 5 active KGB agents ( if they are I'm doomed as is BI ). There are some occasional, when the need arises KGB agents. It's those that I'm trying to target. Not complete guess work but based on voting patterns, especially ACS's killing, and guess work.

 

I agree that it will either be 4-1, or maybe 3-2 (in terms of posting v silent)

My theory is simply that if we focus on silent ones that we know have been online and on the board (like cbrad) then it is impossible to vote against him being killed without drawing serious attention to yourself.

I'm not saying its a perfect strategy but its a strategy. In order for it to work we need to take it in turns to choose the person we vote for. Otherwise one person could pick off all the safe options without building suspicion.

Just over half an hour left to vote. We may not see Obi due to his real world problems which obviously come first, but I expect we will have some late votes yet.

 

I think these two points are very significant.
