Do ya think it would be a good idea to play Sterling up front?

    No.

Sterling isn't a striker and would be wasted in that position. It should be Balotelli and that ****er, Borini, starting up front with Sterling at the point of the diamond.

Here cometh the time, for young Suso to shine, playing up front as a false nine.

Fair enough, I was thinking Sterlings movement may be similar to suarez, his pace against there CH's could be the difference as it will be a tight one tomorrow. Sterling freeing up space for Mario through the middle! just an idea

Yeah... it's a shame Balotelli hasn't hit the ground running... he's not been bad but we need more goals out of him.

The sad thing is- we need our strikers to provide more goals- only Studge seems to do that so far. Sterling is great- but I think we get more out of him a little further back. By all means though, when the opportunity arrives he should be rushing forwards and taking advantage of any holes.

Borini's movement is very good to be fair, I think he should start if there is no Sturridge and I think he will create gaps for Balotelli and Sterling to take advantage of.

His movement is good and he can draw in fouls but I just dont think the lad can cut it for us

  11. Yes but only if Coutinho had been in form so he could play the number ten role. As Coutinho isn't in form, no. Play Borini or Lambert alongside Balotelli and leave sterling in behind

You would be awfully reliant on your full backs not being caught out of position with that formation.
It would be very narrow and they would be tempted to bomb forward.
Your full backs have been your weakest point this season so far.
    Manquillo looks dreadful

4-5-1 and defend for the game.

if sturridge is out we won't socre so we may as well hope to dominate the middle or something.

    What's that?

/We are at home, the fans wont stand for us defending. More so when our defending is akin to catching water with a sieve.

I cant see them coming at us from the off, not after what happened to them last season, they will box clever for the first 30 mins. so it is up to us as the home team to attack, we will need to open them up through the middle, thats where they are weakest, hence the narrow midfield
