I'm a big advocate for not standing still but to keep on improving. With the good start maybe more players will want to join us. Do we have any more money to spend on wages? I see that Hogan Ephraim is a free agent. I would be tempted to send walker back and get Hogan. I agree with some other posters on here that McClure needs to step up soon and as Holloway could go either way (I'm hoping great) we could also do with another striker, is Trotta available? If we can keep Mawson for the season then I'm happy at the back (any news on Stewart). Overall I'm happy (in fact) loving it but if we could get Trotta and Ephraim then we will be a real force.
An experienced striker to partner Paul Hayes is all i think we need right now.Defence is superb and the midfield more than decent. I think we'd all love Trotta back but i can't see him dropping down to League 2.
I think he's still with Fulham, havn't heard anything about him going out on loan. With the way Fulham are playing at the moment why don't they give him a chance to show what he can do? Can't do any worse than the strikers who keep getting picked.
He put in a transfer request at Fulham as he wants more game time. But now Penfold has left he may want to stay.
I think the chances of Trotta playing again in the famous Quaters is a long shot as for strengthing the team I think with such a small squad Gaz will be keeping his powder dry incase of injuries
I really don't see the point of the walker loan. Agree that Trotta is unlikely to return. Ephraim would be class but doubt he will sign although he is mates with Gaz.
the walker loan is a strange one - if gaz would rather change the shape than use him when paris is injured then it doesn't bode well, same for Nathan evans. Another striker or winger would be a priority, but we mainly need to be ready to dip into the loan market to cover injury as and when it happens, we don't want to blow all our budget now then matt ingram get injured or something
I feel sorry for Walker who must feel like a spare part. I'm wondering if the deal with Rotherham for Rowe was on the proviso we took Walker as well to give him some game time. If he doesn't play i hope it doesn't mean Steve Evans will take them both back.
now danny rowes been sent back we need some cover at centre back - doc is more than able but currently injured and I suspect fletcher is probably not there yet. Esepecially with mawson being a loaneee who could be called back at anytime
