You suggested my view had club bias, when I was merely being consistent.

It's true, if he had more moments of magic maybe he could justify the elaborate image and posing but he doesn't do anything like enough on the pitch to justify it. Look at one certain Suarez, Aguero, Sturridge, Toure, Rooney, Hazard, Costa... no frills appearances in comparison minus Aguero's occasional number 1, combover do. Ronaldo's a preening prick but at least he puts in the performances.

    Is right mate

He's the most 'un Liverpool' like signing I can remember tbh.

I wonder if Rodgers thought he could be his Cantona capture?

Maybe fella. Does Balotelli like seagulls? I was in favour of signing him as I thought it would be an interesting time and reasonable business, not because I thought he was brilliant. Was well aware of his flaws. He hasn't impressed me yet. I think he's a player who is the most 'un [insert club] like player' wherever he goes tbh

I for one have no doubt that Balotelli is underrated at 16 mill. His transfer fee and wages are similar to Carroll's at WH, ffs.

Better strikers than him only come at double, triple, quadruple his price, and they could go the way Falcao will soon be going. So, relatively, happy with Balotelli.

Sanchez at 30 mill would have probably been a good deal, and it's not like we didn't try there. Lavezzi, Higuain ... forget it. One scores one in 4, the other gets crocked too often.

So. Looks like no Sturridge, Tobes. Have your jaded views changed regarding the outcome now?

As of last Wednesday, my mate said it was decidedly touch and go.

Rodgers needs a result, and he knows how key Sturridge is to him, he'll stick him in.

I'll be amazed if he's not on the teamsheet

Of course he, and we, need a result. However, I doubt he'd be foolish enough to risk it if he's not 100%

Obviously I hope he doesn't make it, and therefore hopes he plays it safe with him, but I can't see it.

All will be revealed at about 12.30 pm tomorrow, so I suppose we'll have to wait and see.
