He is a "sniper" shooting **** from afar. Somewhere in his mind this makes him clever or witty, ........or it turns him on and gives him a chubby...yeah...IGNORE is the best policy. As for us, we are sinking but we still have a life boat. I have to say we are at the mercy of the players. Ole seemed to have found some magical way to make them a dispirited bunch. If Slade can at least get them to take some pride in their effort, I think we have the class to get back up towards the top end on talent alone.
I think it's easy to develop a siege mentality in the position you are in and think that everyone is agin you. There has always been a strong pro Cardiff element on the Norwich board (And Swansea to be fair) I think it's the provincial city thing because we have it to an extent with Saints and Hull. You are not in as deeply as Fulham but it is the same sort of ****.TBH most of our posters thought it would be us but its not panning out like that.I think Tan is at the root of your problem as most decent managers dont want to risk being out of work after a couple of months.Otherwise why would a Dundee manager turn it down?
It is all inexcusable, and a lot of the fault must lie at the door of Messrs Dahlman and Tan for appointing a predictable failure of a manager in OGS. If as it looks ever likely we are going to get Noddy Holder as manager then he must deal with the 3 areas Masky highlights plus a formation/style that will bring the best out the players he picks, and that he picks a consistent team as well as deflate the egos of these overpaid men masquerading as Championship standard footballers.
Nin - I didn't see OGS as being a predictable failure at the time of his appointment though that's been proved to be the case no question. If it had come off and OGS had kept us up, we'd all be singing Dalman's praises. As it is, Ole was given the benefit of the doubt after a dreadful conclusion to last season and charged with getting this club back up there. It was obvious to most of us, even as early as that first Blackburn game when Ole played Le Fondre as a defensive winger that he was going to pursue his vision, rather than face the realities of Championship football - and so it has been proved. His inadequacy in addressing the obvious problems he was creating himself by continuing to play people out of position was laid bare. He was the wrong man at the time of his appointment, and having been given a second bite of the cherry for our new Championshiphas season, has proved clueless. Add to that the totally unacceptable fitness levels of many of his players coupled with creating such a dispirited squad through his tinkering has put this club back at least one full season.
Hey OS, I really had a negative feeling about his appointment and not saying so with any degree of hindsight
There is only one problem cardiff got and that is the one the only Vincent tan. He has been a nightmare from day one and there is no chance cardiff will ever be a force in football or do well and make money until that clueless idiot has left the club and someone who knows what he is doing takes over.....tan has 4 clubs in 4 different countries on the go. He appoints rubbish managers as they are cheap and expects the team to do well....not a chance in this world that will happen any time soon with another tan special in slade who was about to get the sack himself last week... you could not make it up if you tried and the fans let him get away with it.....unbelievable situation...
Musty, you"re out of touch pal. Compo died a number of years ago...I met him just before in a book signing session. Hope the news does not upset you in beautiful Oz!
Dai, we have gone through this before. Without Tan the club would have gone bust. He now has between £100/150 million in the club. Do you really think he will walk away from that? Is there a queue of billionaires waiting to buy him out? What in your infinite wisdom do you suggest we do? Come on do enlighten us. I have asked you before and still await a sensible reply.
Hello Dai. As in the past I am deafened by the silence from Planet Dai. No surprise there. All bluster and no substance.
Another poor display...at this point, we are a poor Championship side! Still time to turn things around, but no time to waste now! First thing is to get a captain organised in an outfield position!
That is the first time I have seen you and was shocked at how poor you were. I have read what you have been putting on threads but thought it was just fans being over critical, but guys have to say you were all spot on. What has OGS done to your side in the few months he was there. Whoever comes in has got a lot of work to do if you are to even have a sniff at the play offs. I suppose there is still time.
