God no! I can't stand cheerleaders. They're nice to look at but as annoying as hell. The only reason they suit American sports is because American sports are formulated to allow commercial breaks so you get a lot of break in action where they need some diversion to fill the time... plus American sports tend to be very slow paced/lack of action. I hate getting dragged to an American sporting event and having to listen to annoying cheerleaders. They're obnoxious to the max.
