Like a number of other posters, congratulations to Hampshire on their promotion as Champions to Division 1. Next season will be hard but if they can follow the example set by Yorkshire since their promotion back to Division 1 a few seasons ago...just maybe. There are some tough teams there Warwickshire, Sussex, Durham, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire and Somerset (who I would love to see win the title as they have never achieved it!!!!)
Nice of my university to let me know that after the first year of my course, the course is moving 20 odd miles east and an hour and twenty minutes away from Brighton... (they didn't)
Marvellous, the story of Stoke City kit-man and registered clown, Neil Baldwin was... marvellous. Thoroughly enjoyable and heart warming. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b04jmx7l
I start on Monday! Decision was made in the last year, according to the University themselves - just didn't think they need announce it to current (and prospective) students.
Yes, you might hope. But, it doesn't really change the course. Just that it'll be an inconvenient move.
I wanted to watch that. Forgot. Wife came back from being a week for the week. Will have to catch up on that, but after this weekend, with Saints at home and Ryder cup to watch.
Eastbourne..? Tbf, there's the delightful little town of Rye. Former home to the much-missed Spike Milligan.
