Playing with his ****ing mod tools the sackless twat. TBH with you lot, I'm about pissed off with it now. Anyway, I was trying post on the goal/murder thread & that dick fingers went & locked it. So here you gan. Nikki Allen was a different case. She was from Wear Garth in Hendon & was murdered in the old exchange building on High St East. Some sick **** brayed a little girls head in with a brick. That bastard still walks free to this day. I hope he rots in hell.

That's true mate but a million terrible things happened that night around the world. Nevertheless a football match took place and that was the point of the thread. You could find a tragedy to coincide with every Sunderland game over the last 100 years but you should be allowed to mention the matches shouldn't you?
Must admit, i've had a big part to play in the closing of them 2 threads. There will always be people who don't get along, and i didn't help by putting the mods in an awkward position.
FWIW one event sparking another memory, however unconnected, but occurring about the same time seems pretty straightforward in my book.
You know what people on this site need to fecking grow up like. Dont post this, dont post that and dont mention this on that thread. Simple as this is the internet, threads wont go as planned and follow the Op's purpose, that's life get over it. Having read the closed thread, didn't see it at time cos I was balls deep in ale, I can fully understand why it was closed, it was only going one way. I'm really not sure why it escalated in that way, initially nobody IMO spoke out of turn, but what's the point just letting a back & forth keep going?
I too, am getting sick and ****ing tired of closed threads. You're right billy, it's people with a bit of power. I feel like I'm being treated like a kid when I'm writing on here. That doesn't go for all the mods by the way, some are doing a great job. It would be good if there was a way you could vote out a mod(s).
it's a thankless job with usually a no win situation for them - I think they all do a cracking job considering the diversity of post and posters
If you wanted to vote out mods that would be fine, we are here to help the board at the end of the day, I certainly wouldn't be offended and would continue to post regardless, i'm sure the other lads feel the same.
Agreed. The most democratic way of doing it so if someone wants to do that and I get voted out so be it. Seems to be more trouble than it's worth most of the time. We've had **** within the last couple of days for not doing enough modding, we've had **** for doing too much. Can't do right for wrong. Would have to be a public vote though to keep it transparent and clear.
Of course, I quite agree. But somebody commented on it & I tried to put my tuppence worth into it by pointing out that it was two different killings of two little lasses. I've said this before & I'll say the ****er again, IMO a thread should never be pulled or locked unless it breaks law or the OP requests it. And if the OP does then the mod's should say. It used to be good on here, it's ****e now.
No no no.. If it goes this way then we're turning into Jerry Springer ffs. If everyone on here that had a disagreement with each other turned that passion into actual discussion/debate instead of personal agendas then we would all be ****ing kings of SAFC supporters!
I think it needs to happen, over the last few days the mods have really come into question. We can do the vote and move on after it. I think it has to be a mod who starts the poll, so people know it's being taken seriously.
