No it doesn't. We can't make the same assumptions that you are willing to. We don't know if BTK was killed by KGB or friendly fire. If he was killed by friendly fire then DMW would be exposed and we'd lose a powerful player.The only people to benefit from that would be the KGB.

The point I was making was that if you are using BTK's assassination to back up your point about DMW then that removes any of YOUR reasons for not voting for me. This is simple logic. There is no good reason to not vote for me if you insist on doubting DMW and Obi.

No way was BTK killed in friendly fire. Far too much of a coincidence that he was killed after voting DMW.

KGB were obviously concerned that I was finally convincing people DMW is Philby so had one of my allies killed.

Nobody. But if we wait another night to check this theory then the possibilty will exist that somebody has been turned tomorrow night. They cannot turn someone and kill someone on the same night. You believe that the KGB killed BTK. if they did then they didn't turn anybody.

So if you want to test Obi, DMW and Me then the best way is to vote for me.

If you test DMW then it leaves open the possibility that the Maclean was in effect on the night that Obi checked and Obi really could be MI6. It also leaves open the possibility that I am MI5 and just really bad at this game.

If you test Obi, it leaves open the possibility that he knows these answers through KGB investigations and that he could have been telling the truth about myself and DMW as part of his cover to allow him to infiltrate our circle of trust.

If you test me and I am KGB then it blows Obi's alibi and PM out of the water, which in turn exposes DMW.

It makes no sense to vote for DMW first.

Rightly or wrongly, it is coming across that you want DMW dead at all costs. The only people who could want that for sure are KGB. I am not saying you are KGB. I'm nbot sure. I do feel suspicious of why you wont consider any alternatives - especially when they seem more logical

 

I'm sticking to DMW for all the reasons already stated but this game is dying a slow death due to lack of input from other players.

Partly because there's only me and you playing the game Without input from others it makes it 10x harder.

 

I still think it will turn out to be something weird like Pulp, Jimmy, DPP and someone who has never even breathed on here yet who will turn out to be KGB (not saying its those exact people but they are all fairly quiet).

It could also be that one of us has missed something tiny at some point down the line that is making us make incorrect assumptions (I'm good at doing that).

Most of all tho, I can see why you don't want to vote me off (even tho it is the most logical answer to your concerns) - you'd be left talking to your ****ing self

Not sure why I am being linked to being scum?! I don't always have time to post on here unlike some people which if you check my voting you will see that I usually vote earlier on without changing my vote and always giving a pretty good reason! Only Tash (if I recall) was a I seriously wrong but then the twerp made it seem pretty obvious he was KGB. Obviously now getting to the nitty gritty and I have missed too much in periods of my "quietness" to get the full picture, like what happened to GCB, and I can't be arsed to spend hours reading through everything. Apologies to my fellow MI5 agents about this. Think cbrad, MMS and DMW are all KGB! How many of them are even left? We killed one so is that 3 left or have they converted someone - if they have converted someone has anyone noticed a change in pattern from someone?

 

Unless the KGB chose that assassination in order to reinforce the doubts in our minds...

 

Possibly it is because DMW is KGG so can see where GCB is coming from, though it could also be that they thought he was BI and they have crap intelligence! At one stage I thought BTK was himself KGB! Thought Less Than was one of us but he is making himself distant from lots of people and playing a good game, so maybe he is the one that is KGB?

 

Does Lyalin's protect skill also prevent conversion?

 

I spent half an hour reading back through the posts last night but I'm no further forward. To be honest I thought it was highly likely BTK and MMS were KGB. I protected Obi last night and fully expected to go. My reasoning was that we could not lose a MI6 operative. I am almost certain now someone was converted after the 2nd or 3rd vote. I can be converted tasty, there is nothing in the rules which suggests any BI agent can't. They can only convert one BI, through Philby.

I don't know what to make of GCB's hard on for me, whether he is genuinely trying to get us some information or has simply come back KGB. In his defence he was already gunning for me when he was definitely MI5. If he is KGB he is not Philby, because people were assassinated before he died the first time. Less Than's logic seems sound, and he of course did help kill ACS along with Trev and GCB (who we know was MI5). However he was also fingered by Tash and raised a very persuasive argument to retain the MMS vote last night when I withdrew my vote, albeit timings were so similar, we may have actually crossed over.

One thing for sure is we cannot make another mistake tonight. I don't know the exact numbers but the ratios do suggest we are now up against it. The key is Philby and Gordievsky. If BTK was killed by the former, then I'd question what Gordievsky is playing at. We have played this all wrong. When Tash was voted out, Gordievsky should have killed me. I was protecting myself, the worst that could happen was we lost Tash and confirmed I was Lyalin.

However my vote is DT pending further information because either him or MMS swayed the voting the other night to kill Tash. We know MMS was BI now. Therefore if we are going to follow the reasoning for the vote last night through to conclusion, we have to kill DT unless he can prove categorically he is BI. However I will go with the masses. Every night we have a theory and by the next day we move onto a new one. As GCB said we are playing it all wrong like Battleships. Randomly killing someone and then deciding on a new theory. It makes no sense. If we kill DT and he is KGB then I'd expect GCB has been running a diversion all along since returning.

 

Yes Lyalin can protect himself but he would have had to known that someone would try to convert him prior to conversion and on that particular day!

 

I'm MI5 guys and haven't deviated from my theory...DMW and Less Than are running the show as Philby andMaclean.

It's nailed on that with those two manipulating the vote we'll lose another BI member tonight.

 

My view is vote for Less Than today to test his theory out as suggested by him.

This addresses both a double bluff on his part if he is KGB and also should reveal as he has said hopefully certain info on KGB members if he turns out to be MI5.

Isn't it this simple? Or am I missing something like protects etc.?
