Quite logical picking Slade,if Cardiff are trying to follow the Swansea way. Rodgers was virtually unknown and on the dole after being sacked by Reading,look what he did for us and where he is now. Both men have strong personalties and are able to highly motivate players.
I disagree Keith and I think that's an oversimplification. Rodgers was chosen because he fitted well with the way we like to play, not the other way around. There is no evidence that Slade's teams play attractive football and his win rate isn't that good in a lower division. It was under 30% a couple of seasons ago, and that's why their fans are by and large not particularly enthusiastic. Hopefully he'll get a long contract, do the business and take the ****ers to the Conference.

There are Loads of far better managers out there than slade who quite honestly i had never knew he existed until now but tan don't have the luxury like most clubs as he is very limited in who will work for him,

If you never knew he existed how do you know there are loads of better managers? Do they have to be some sort of A-list celeb first? We're as clueless as you lot mind over how he will cope but this will make an interesting season for us all! Can't do much worse than Ole though.
