I'm watching "Don't teach your wife to drive." right now.

Why don't some people realise they just will never be able to drive?

On TV lately there has been a few of these type of programmes and some of the drivers shouldn't be allowed behind the wheel.
And as their horrendous driving has been filmed why the hell aren't the police prosecuting them?

No wonder I spend half my time driving about the City avoiding people pulling out of side streets without looking, they clearly have no spacial awareness.

I slowed down on the A19 the other day to allow a car to pull onto the carriageway from a slip road.
They actually pulled up to a stop which meant I had to keep going or have cars up my arse, just as I got parallel they pulled out!!!!!!!

Totally agree, some of the driving out there is shockingly bad. I would be embarrassed to do some of the things I see out there on the roads.

Blokes in their 30-40s driving BMWS.....<grr>

Foreign drivers <go and take some lessons please to learn how you drive on the left>

Women who won't give way <doh>

I've never had any points or crashes by the way throughout my driving career <because I use my brain when I'm behind the wheel>

Was driving though Jesmond in Newcastle the other day, passed some posh boy's school and the road was almost blocked by snotty fat f**ing parents in their big range rovers.

    I was ragin' :steam:

Had points for speeding, couple of MPH over the linit.
Had a woman crash straight into the side of me in a shopping center car park as she tried to smack her kids in the back of her car whilst driving!

I can never understand why they get the kids out of the car on the roadside of the car.
    Are they ****ing braindead?

You've been unlucky with the points mate, a couple of MPH over is nothing.

Car parks are my pet hate, people tend to lose any common sense they may have when driving in them. They just seem to relax too much and not concentrate and don't follow the rules.

Some old git from where my father-in-law lives reversed into our parked car and dinted the side.....and then drove off

Did 34 in a 30 mph on Stockton Road which is a ****ing dual carriageway.

At least I was given the choice of a driver ****ing awareness course instead of the points!
4 hours of my life I'll never get back. :p

There's a lass on this show now, driving like a lunatic at speed even from a standing start and all over the road.
And she is doing the exact opposite of a good driver and actually speeding up into blind country corners.
No wonder her husband is ****ting himself.

Country roads :steam: whenever I get out in the sticks there always seems to be some nutter coming towards you at speed on your side of the road having made a crazy decision to pass someone just so they get home five minutes quicker.

One thing I like to do on a Sunday morning is get infront of the old geezer who is doing twenty and then slow right down infront of him. Watch the old bugger in the mirror, he's always puzzled.....see how he likes it :emoticon-0102-bigsm

    Fantastic lol.
Had a couple of crashes in my teens, both down to sheer stupidity behind the wheel. I'm ashamed looking back, and I am a massive advocate of 21 being the legal driving age, some teenage boys are just far too "exuberant" (to put it nicely).

You have issues with everything on the road! You're probably the type of driver I hate most. <ok>

It's easy to spot the bad drivers in Manchester, they all get given a black cab or a stagecoach bus to go about their daily business. I've pressed that red 'emergency door opening' button on the side of busses more times than I care to remember, it's amazing how a hard man can turn into such a pissy pants pussy when you take away the metal and glass that separates you from them.

I am a standard road user who will make the odd mistake but if any ****ing filthy rodent in a taxi starts giving it '**** off, bastard, Allan's Snackbar' I reserve my right to stop my car and make the ****er squirm and beg me not to rip his ****ing head off.

I get road rage daily on the commute to and from Manchester. Every d!ck wants to cut you up and get to work that split second sooner. Sadly the horn on my car is not the most manly so I have to revert to the tried and trusted hand signals!

I drove down South over the weekend, overall I did a round trip of nearly (1000 mile) - the further South I ventured the more aggressive the road rage and bad driving was prevalent, M25 - South was a ****ing nightmare, for the life of me (quite literally) I cannot understand how or why **** drivers want to gain a few metres (and seconds) in heavy traffic- put their own and more importantly my life at risk - it's though everyone had to be at certainly place 'yesterday' - I'm altogether a quiet and peaceful chap- but if I met any of those inconsiderate ****ers (that endangered me) I'd have to put them on their arse.

Wrong ****ing lane at junctions or on roundabouts is my thing at the minute, how ****ing difficult is it? If you are going left, left lane, that's about it. So many people man.

Arseholes blocking the outside lane seem to be on the rise locally as well, for me they should make this endorsable.

One of the saddest reflections on society mind is that the nicer the car you have, and work hard for, the less chance of people letting you out.

What the **** is that about? People try so hard to concentrate on looking straight ahead the veins are popping out their neck, and they call YOU a ****er for having the gall to have grafted your balls off for a nicer life.

Even in this thread reference to '30 something BMW drivers'.

I'm one of those, and I guarantee the car doesn't affect the driver, you just notice nicer cars cos you want one, whether you admit it or not.

A **** driver could just as likely be in a Rolls as a Dacia.

Not sure that's strictly the reason though - I have had a number of crashes - Aquaplaned into the back of my brother, Skidded into someone on ice (I was doing less than 5 miles an hour downhill when I hit black ice and the car simply wouldn't stop) and also hit a car head on which was abandoned facing the wrong way on the A167. None of which could've been avoided and it doesn't mean I didn't use my brain. I was doing 70 on a blind corner on the 167 in the dark when I hit the front of that car!

That said - when I hit the cars from behind, I didn;t blame them, I simply apologised for it
