The last few seasons of Scrubs (and the Scrubs spin off) were awful- but the first couple of seasons were great. Depends when you started watching.

Scrubs started off one of my favourite shows but towards the end I remember thinking how awful it had become.

    The Janitor character was great!

  7. I've just looked back, my comment may have sounded harsher than intended and perhaps could have been interpreted as a jibe. Just in case, I want to be clear that I was just joking and meant absolutely nothing by it <ok>

What time does everyone have to get up during the week normally? My alarm's set for 6.45am tomorrow morning :steam:. Some days I don't start work till the afternoon so get up later.

  10. My first alarm goes off at 7.45am. I never get up on this alarm, its merely the preparation alarm.

The second and third alarms both go off at 8am. these are the "get your ass up soon" alarms.

My fourth alarm goes off at 8.15am. This is the "get the **** up you lazy batard, you're going to be late" alarm

The final alarm is around 8.30am. This one is the mrs (nm) kicking my ass if I don't move because the two eldest have to be at school in less than fifteen minutes time and all three of us still need to get washed and dressed!

    I start work at 9am :)

    <laugh> Like it.

I used to have several alarms but I find it difficult to drop off again now once I'm woken up so don't really need any other than the first. My iphone has a snooze function though which is the bane of my life as it automatically goes to snooze when I knock the alarm off, then it comes back on again five minutes later and makes me jump. I also leave the phone/alarm somewhere where I have to walk to to turn it off rather than right next to my cave.

    No offence taken.
Most of us know each other well enough on here to know if and when we're being serious. <ok>
Even those, like me, who aren't in the clique.

  13. I tried that too but it didn't work. I used to have no less than nine alarms, all going off at five minute intervals <laugh>

I've been known to drop to sleep on toilet or in the bath too :)

Don't have alarms as I don't start work till late due to the fact I do late nights. Only day I'm up early is Sunday if I work (which I am working this Sunday) and my alarm goes off at 6:00, I start work at 8 but I get up shower, shovel and fees the dogs before I leave. <ok>

<laugh> jesus. I constantly go to bed ****ting it that I won't wake up in time, so get quite on and off sleep when I have to be up early. Sleep very soundly the rest of the time.

Used to work nights. 12 hour shifts from 6pm-6am. Quite liked it. What dogs you got? That's one less thing I have to do in the morning.

Don't think I could ever work nights, don't think I'll like it at all. Got a Cocker Spaniel and a Boxer <ok>

I'm like you as well, when I have to be up early I always seem to have a **** nights sleep, wake up every hour etc.

  18. I never sleep properly on a Sunday night, especially after having time off work. Been like it for years.

Slackers! My alarm goes off 5:30 and I've usually been awake for 30 mins before it goes off.

I usually get up... shower ,eat breakfast whilst playing a quick game of Football Manager then out the house before 7.

Traffic is a nightmare outside my estate. If I leave before 7 it takes 30 mins to get to work. Leave 10 mins later and it takes an hour... really dramatic the difference 10 mins makes

3 schools opposite my estate and parents start dropping kids off at 7 and it becomes a nightmare.

Usually at work by 7:30 and spend the first 7.5 hours on not606 whilst I get settled for the day with some dark roast french-pressed coffee.

  20. When I was younger, I used to wake up because I could hear one of my parents walking on the landing on their way to waking me up before school. My issue is more to do with liking late nights; aka now <laugh>
