Too early to worry? We are sliding down the table at an alarming rate! Now in just 5th place going into the Sunderland game, and we've been far from convincing in our second half performances this season. Did we make a mistake appointing a Rookie in Monk? too much of the budget on Bony last season? Was the defence neglected, should we have kept Ben Davies?

No it's not tongue in cheek at all. I can see the mods holding their heads in their hands as we speak, or possibly doing this. A thread calculated to cause arguments, not debate - because there is no debate. Just another sly dig at a poster that you're sadly famous for. Indeed, calculated to draw the usual visitors here who only arrive to cause arguments and tension. What is it with you people? Captain Mainwaring's famous saying springs to mind - "Stupid boy!"

Valley - I wasn't asking anyone to close this thread at all but do you honestly thing the 'petty bullshit' will be kept to one thread? Good luck with that. Certain people on this forum - particularly this poster - seem to get their kicks from throwing grenades around then watching the fun. **** knows what'll happen if and when we have an excuse to fight on this forum. It's almost as if we're doing so well that there's nothing to fight over so some people create reasons out of thin air. I really don't get it. Swanselona's right, of course. Cue "Where's your sense of humour?" accompanied by lots of ass smileys.

i was a huge Monk critic but i am biting my keyboard atm, done a gr8 job so far and the squad is far better than last years, hope he and team keep it going
