I must say that I had to rub my eyes in disbelief when I read that the Rodent is being lined up as Director of Football at Cardiff! Just what the hell is going on with them!

I'm sure you boys all have your own views on the splendid job that he did while at the helm so perhaps you can give Cardiff fans the benefit of your wisdom and experience!

It just amazes me how characters like him can still get these kind of influential jobs in football!

Joe Kinnear is another one that I would lump into this bracket!

It always makes me laugh that whenever there is a managerial vacancy, Alan Curbishley's name is always mentioned as a contender! Feck me he has been out of Football now for 10 Years! <yikes> Talk about living on past reputation!

Actually, the first thing Paul Lambert did as Villa manager was to sack him as a scout. The icing on top of the cake. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I know he was advising aston villa for a bit in a kind of scouting capacity. A certain Jean Makoun was one of his firm recommendations of which he pushed heavily for. He didn't lose his touch after he left us.

And hughton is in the frame for the Fulham job apparently. So, that's 2 prospective rivals screwed up for the season!
