Rules of the thread should be. If you are going to suggest a goal, find a post a video of it!

Terrible video. But I seem to remember Oakley scoring a good one v Pompey. Or maybe I just remember it being a good one because it was against Pompey
#10 on my list was this curler from Adam Lallana away at Hartlepool....starts at 6:18
#3 and #7 on my list.....James Beattie against Sunderland starts at 1:03.....Beattie against Chelsea starts at 2:07
Fabrice Fernandes at home vs Everton 03/04 Season was a good one. Appreciate if someone could link it for me please, I cant from work. Saints were awful that first half but managed to come back to draw. Used to like Fabrice in the beginning, just a shame he didnt know how to pass!
In my mind, the goal isn't as good if it been smashed from long range because it's just been cleared by a defender/punched away by keeper, etc. Not that it takes anything away from the skill of the strike.
I find TV slows the pace down a little and goals don't seem quite as spectacular. Remember that Barry Horne goal and it remains one of my most memorable the way the ball swerved left & right, I had never seen anything like it before and the fact it was an injury time equaliser made it all the more special. Kevin Moores goal in amongst the Le God Hat-Trick against Norwich was another strike which seemed to flash in, but looks a little dull on video
