I think you have uncovered some good avenues of investigation and possible asassination there. We have two days to kill three KGB and get them heavily on the run.

I think there are four people that absolutely no BI should vote for.

Obi - outed by me as MI6 (when I thought he was behaving suspiciously)

DMW - confirmed by both Tash & Obi as being BI

Trev - trusted by Obi and therefore should be trusted by the rest of us

Roland - I'll hold my hands up to thinking he was Philby, but if he was saved by DMW then I was wrong.

I would love to add my own name to that list. I am MI5. Obi can confirm that but Tash had me as Maclean. One of them had their enquiry result flipped and I can't prove it was Tash. I got it wrong yesterday - but in good faith. However, its right that people should be suspicious.

I think anyone who votes (or doesn't change their vote away) for any of the four above has to be seen as KGB. I still suspect BTK but will happily change my vote to someone that Obi and DMW decide. I think Gordievsky could do with taking a hint from these two too.

Apologies to Tash for not being around to save you last night. I still don't understand why people voted for him though. Surely there were only two plays? Vote for Less Than based on his "intel" or vote for me knowing I could save myself. Once I hadn't logged on and had already said I would be saving myself once Tash exposed me, the assumption would be if I was lyallin I'd be saving myself.

This leads me to vote for Less Than. The odds of a Maclean seemed low to me last night, and whereas it could still be the case, I think tashs death strengthens the case for Less Than. However are we just dancing to a kossack tune here?

I am still unsure of Obi and Trevor. I have to be. This PM thing is nagging away at me. However losing the last MI6 is now fatal. These seem obvious kills and that is not working out so far. Less Than obvious too. I'd be suspicious of DT and MMS but the digging is from Obi!

I still don't know if it was correct to save Roland? This was based purely on fear of losing 2 in one night and being fairly sure ACS was KGB.

I need to have a think about this and look at who was swapping votes around etc. I should be on before 9 and will save who I think is most relevant. I can't save two at once though and if they use a kill and vote on the same person they die anyway. For now I think MI6 agent remaining should remain undercover along with gordievsky.

 

GCB too. He knew the right play last night looking back. People were convinced by him and then unconvinced at the last minute? Why? I was starting to get suspicious yesterday afternoon but we know we just got played.

What would help is if DT can tell me why he voted for Obi immediately after Tash's death and then changed to Less Than?

 

Easy. Obi always is browsing this thread but rarely posts.
The PM published has swayed me too.
Keep re-reading the PM and you'll see.
He is also actively trying to target me and MMS which suggests he's wanting to brush to PM under the carpet.
I think he is working in the shadows. I am also convinced Less Hope is a KGB due to him bring so active and openly MI5.

 

I switched as everyone else is piling onto less hope.

 

If Obi is not MI6 - and I believe he is - do we have another MI6 coming forward and why have you stayed quiet so long?

Question for JPF - are all players active now? If we still have BI who are not taking part, could GCB as a player who was active and enjoying the game not be reinstated in place of a non-attendee MI5 or higher rank?

 

Cheeky, Tasty... There are inactive players, but I cannot reveal whether BI are inactive, or KGB. So I suppose GCB could be re-instated for someone if he wishes

So now that you're back and had a chance to think about things, does this mean you can now share what you said you were sure of last night before you got silenced??

 

I believe that DMW is Philby and that he had me assasinated. I think he thought I was Oleg (and therefore he knew that I knew that he wasn't Oleg). Due to the fact he thought I was Oleg he had me killed before I could persuade others to go down the route of voting him.

As such I still believe the best course of action is to vote DMW because again, if he is Oleg he'll save himself and BI don't lose. If he's isn't Oleg there's a very good chance not only is he KGB but he's also Philby. We can't lose by voting for him. Either we oust KGB (and possibly their head guy) or we keep all of BI in tact by DMW protecting himself.

I was obviously killed for a reason guys, if I was barking up the wrong tree I'd have been left to carry on barking.
