I only went Tash as I knew (or had been conned into thinking) 'Less Than' was MI5 and yet Tash 'outed him'.
And he claimed that I was MI5. Nothing else stacked up for me. But why did they take out GCB is he's 'only' MI5?

 

No way. Tash as KGB was the only vote I've even been a little confident about. Sickener. We're down to one MI6 and we haven't a clue...

Things are looking grim.

I have to take my hat off to the KGB - they have played a blinder by doing as little as possible - and I still think that even though they lost ACS yesterday, they managed to do a lot of good work throwing us off their scent at the same time.

Tash was told that DMW is Lyalin. It's possible that Tash was the victim of Maclean when he got that response (as well as he was when he enquired about me) but voting for DMW would be a massive risk for any BI to make.

Although we were happy to report positive developments, with the outing and execution of war criminal and Soviet double-agent, Anthony Blunt (ACS), tonight's affair makes much grimmer reading for British Intelligence forces. Not one, but two Secret Service personnel, were felled within moments of each other, the coroner has attested. Tash, an MI6 Agent charged with the internal investigation of British Intelligence, was mistakenly taken out in Leicester Square, it appears, as a potential KGB operative. Meanwhile, just a mile or two down the road, outside a traditional Native American Restaurant, "I Told You Sioux", MI5 Officer "GCB" met a similar fate.

While the circumstances of both deaths are unclear, Scotland Yard have confirmed that Tash's bloodstream was mostly vodka, and that copious amounts of semen (of varying different types, but mostly belonging to the victim) and cocaine were found at the scene. Forensics teams have yet to reveal the cause of death, in fact, before the second death was tied to this crime, one observer had actually assumed it was just another case of being a big fat bastard.

The second victim, GCB, was only identified as such from semi-nude modelling photos, due to the fact he was decapitated, it seems, by a celebratory cigar, laced with explosives. The Chief Constable released a document in the deceased man's possession, which, when decrypted, read:

"I'm onto something big, I may be a target.... and I am sure I have seen DMW with a knife, don't trust him"

One thing is for certain, whatever the ramifications or justifications of those words, the British Intelligence Service is once again in crisis, moments after the small victory of outing a national traitor. The question is, how many more remain, and how many more good men will pay the ultimate price?

 

And Lyalin is the response I got too! That's why I didn't vote for DMW, or you as you showed as MI5.

 

Now is the time for clear heads and a strategy. We need to work out what GCB was onto. However, I also think in many ways we need to cut down on speculation, identify a target and go for it. If we can get two targets all the better - we have an assassin too I believe, but that would be a bonus. The fightback starts now!

I looked who the first person was to vote for Tash but it was GCB! Quick on his heels tho was BTK. I see he also voted straight away for Lyalin. Interesting....
