    Aren't we paying them to entertain us? No wait, they come and clap us at the end of each game. How come I'm not paid £100,000 a week!?

    I think the atmosphere last time we played then was certainly hate-filled, but unfortunately that may have played into their hands.

    I don't recognise half the names you put in that line up. Gardos? Pelle? Mane?? I just listen to what Robbie Savage and Darren Fletcher say. Fact is, we sold our best players in the summer and didn't buy anyone in, therefore our current position is unbelievable. If we had bought new players, Savage would have mentioned it by now. I rest my case.

    Well someone else asked for a hate-filled atmosphere (a joke hopefully), then his name came up.

    My two favourite Savage moments;

    1) When he played for Birmingham at St Marys and the whole ground sang "Robbie Savage, is a ****er!" every time he touched the ball.

    2) When he was a touchline pundit at an Arsenal vs Leeds cup tie, and was stood just in front of the Leeds fans who chanted the same thing and pelted him with hot dog sausages while he talked live to camera. Those hot dogs at the Emirates cost a fortune and Yorkshire folk are notoriously tight, so that was real dedication from the Leeds fans.

    In a killjoy mood today, I never have been any good at table top management, so I will leave team selection to RonKo and his team, if Tuesday was the Lord Mayors show, we all know what usually happens after, so a scrappy game with a result if things go our way would be fine, and as for HR, I don't like to mock the afflicted, especially when they have no recourse to get back at you, it ain't Saintly.

    Their midfield problems and the difficulties they have had at the back SHOULD play into our hands. I'd start with Bertrand and Long in for Targett and Mane. Love the competition for places now considering the size of the squad. We have 16/17 very good players and I would no be dissapointed to see any of them start.

    3-1 saints.(Pelle, Long, Tadic)

    Joey Barton and Jordon Mutch ruled out, with Sandro a doubt.

    Our MOTM from last week (Kranjcar) is a doubt too. If those 4 are unavailable, we've literally only got Karl Henry & Leroy Fer to pick in central midfield. Ominous

    Our main enemy will be over-confidence. Everything points to a Newcastle type score but it still wont be easy.

    Saints have failed to beat QPR at home since 1995...
