I think the idea is that Mason, uniquely, might be glad to be playing. You'd never know it by his expression. And this is why Townsend never scores. The moment it couldn't have been clearer he needed to run at the goal to tap in a cross, he stood aimlessly around at the edge of the box.
Another decent dribble and cross by Townsend. Good cross, but Kane does well just to get his head on the ball. Two men sandwiching him.
I find it hard to even get upset when we are losing. The last couple of years have really taken my love for football away.
I'll start the bidding at 1 billion dollars.... anybody? anybody? Ok How about we start at 2 million...
Well, no problem. We'll pin on our hopes on the last man on our bench going it alone. To be fair, I was going to say the 4-4-2 looked much likelier to score, inverted wingers or no. There are real live human beings in white shirts in the box.
Haven't seen Blackstock in a while. He was pretty decent a while ago. Hope he's not feeling quick tonight or we could be in trouble.
Townsend is without doubt one of the most frustrating players I have ever watched. So much pace and potential but hardly ever any end product.
Even Forest seem to have a few of their best players out tonight (rested?) - Cohen, Hobbs, Lansbury, Antonio, Assombalonga, Fryatt, Lichaj, Darlow, Reid. Is this competition worth the bother?
