Personally I think it is more pressing to find out if Tash is MI6 or KGB. I was convinced last night that Tash was KGB due to his voting and voted for him last minute, only changing to ACS when ACS voted late and changed the numbers. Immediately today Tash comes out with 'info' attacking me and trying to drum up support to out me. This looks suspicious to me. He is also refusing to acknowledge the possibility that the Maclean has been used - I think because he knows its irrelevant. If we get two in two nights that will be a hammer blow to them and will also give us more clues once we regroup and read back.

If we vote DMW and he proves he is one of us then we have missed an opportunity for that hammer blow. Also Tasty's point still stands. DMW could be who he says even if Tash is KGB. They will want to make us suspect as many of our own as possible if they know we are taking one of their's out.

 

Another reason to vote for Tash would be to not split the vote. So far 12 people have voted and their are a maximum of 5 of them. If the vote is split 3 ways 5 could win.

So, now that you want to stay - how about convincing us why we should save you and answering some of the questions from earlier?

 

I'm an MI6 agent and I will be able to use my power to investigate those whom you want me to investigate, I just didn't want to share my info so early just in case.

 

So, to summarise:

You have investigated DMW and he is Lyalin - which he says you are correct about
You have investigated Obi and he is MI5 - though he claims to be MI6 - and you claimed he was already dead.
You have investigated me and I am Maclean - though I say you are lying about or for some reason ignoring my actions and discarding the possibility that the Maclean is in effect
You wanted to investigate ACS but he was killed.

Why did you not vote for me, or try and get anyone else to vote for me as soon as you thought you knew that I was Maclean? You could have accused me of being KGB without giving yourself away as MI6. Instead, you waited until I had helped kill ACS, and you knew that you were next on my list of suspects from what I said last night.

 

I got Obi mixed up with someone else.

I didn't vote for you because there was no point seeing as my vote wouldn't have contributed to you being out, and it was also voting to keep numbers stacked against others.

I asked to investigate ACS but I got no info because he was killed on the same day, so what would be the point of him sending me a PM when the info on him was displayed at the time of his death.

 

So why do you think I voted to kill ACS?

And tbh, when I received INFO about you I wasn't completely familiar with the dirty info things. Now I am, maybe you're telling the truth, or maybe not.

 

I am 100% MI5. No special powers, but definitely not KGB.

I'm not certain about you. You may well be MI6, or you and DMW could be in this together to get rid of more BI. I know that what you say contradicts what Obi said.

I really think me and DMW need to start comparing what Obi said to us.

 

If Tash is KGB then he would know everyone else who was KGB and therefore who was BI. Therefore if he was BI there is no harm in telling all of us KGB and BI as to the outcome of his investigations as the KGB already know. Isn't that right?

Refusal to disclose would say to me Tash is KGB.

Can't remember who my last vote is for and am not going to work my way through all the logic and counter logic so for the avoidance of doubt (mine) I vote TASH.

BIs PMing is only 'breaking rules' when JPF finds out! FFS!!!! KGB get to communicate covertly and we were men down. I was just trying to gather some troops so we could work as a pack, but it backfired as they all suspected me and/or followed the rules.

I've messed up, sorry. But I think it will start to reveal things now.

To be fair to Less Than, Trev and DMW - all of them blanked my PMs and obviously had clearer views on the 'rules' than I did. Sorry!
So in that sense they are all 'clean'. I also believe all three are BI not KGB. But that's just my view.

By the way Less Than, look at the bottom para of my PM. I actually said feel free to share with Trev and DMW to verify the series of events in my comms with them. Don't think it should all be openly aired on the thread though. What I said about not sharing was don't keep asking BI 'Special' Agents to 'out' themselves in public! That's very different!. And it would be dangerous. Unless you are indeed KGB and are trying to reveal all the specials. i'm really not sure any more.

As others have said, for me the best thing might be to vote for Tash to see which of him and Less Than are telling the truth. Either way it will be revealing as we should expose a KGB.

For now, I vote Tash. We definitely don't want a situation of a split vote resulting in a draw where we could lose two or more at once..

That's all fair enough. You'll need to forgive me that I'm not 100% convinced yet, but at least you've come on and aired an opinion. Not sure why JPF hasn't punished you tho of course, if JPF was to punish you for breaking the rules then that would confirm that you were not KGB.
