I said "IF swansea paid rent", not "swansea SHOULD pay rent" or "swansea OWE the council rent".

I accept that the terms of the rental agreement state that you only have to pay rent when the SSMC makes a profit, and the rent is a previously specified percentage of said profit. I also accept that this is a highly unusual practice in the business world and is designed so that your "well run club" can rip people off.

You really do need to keep up.

    What's irrational about that?
We've got a brand new premier fixture list (is that true or not?)
You've got a new Malky (True or not?)
So how can that possibly be irrational and may I congratulate you on your serious lack of humour. I bet you think farts are not funny too!

So lukey boy we have entered a business agreement to specifically rip people off ? Listen to yourself , we have an agreement with stadco a non profit company that has directors from the council directly, one of whom is a prominent councillor, and you suggest we are committing fraud and stadco is, now if you suspect any wrong doing by either company, you have a public duty to report this to the authorities !

So best of luck with that ;) to think for the last 6 years we have had people in charge who have been ripping people off, it must be true because lukey boy says so ;)

I actually just rang my Grandmother up and asked if she'd been ripped off by Swansea. Her answer was a swift no. She did, however, add that she once hired a male escort for the evening, paid £200 for the privelage, and it turned out to be Craig Bellamy. Now that's a rip off.

As Jager said, if you believe we are in the wrong, you have a public duty to report us. So go ahead, go on....Oh no, wait, you can't.

Your wrong, and you know it.

<laugh> Is it wrong that every morning I actually look forward to the reading the latest installments of this soap before work?...and before anyone starts - I'm neither involved or going to be involved. I'm happy enough in the stands with my popcorn :)

Jager...you are such an arrogant ****er...What's up with saying **** like "Lukey boy"...it is obvious you ignore the facts because you are a WUM. You can't be that stupid that you don't know you are ignoring any reasonable argument by either lying or pointing your fingers in your ears and going "na nana na na". It is almost embarrassing the way you will not accept the basic tenure of the argument. You got to the Prem because you went into admin twice, and have made deals that are detrimental to your community. Cardiff have been poorly run but are paying all bills that have been shown to be payable...late is better than never...something you don't get obviously.

If you smug posts addressed this premise then you may get some respect and not considered a total tosspot.

I think anybody who has read through this entire thread has to see you as a Ladyboi or an Aussie jack. Basically a WUM with the intelligence to not WUM well.

This is my last dealing with you and I just hope all other posters just ignore you. I am sure Luke, Proph and Aber can see right through you as well. Continue to spout your rubbish on OUR board but I believe people will ignore you more and more. Take away the oxygen........

Jack Ash - "I actually just rang my Grandmother up and asked if she'd been ripped off by Swansea. Her answer was a swift no"<doh>....I called up your grandmother and asked her if the Swans went into admin twice ripping off everybody and then set deals which take money out of the community she said "Well...yes, but as a Swans fan I have to close my eyes to that kind of rubbish and make out it happened in never never land. Oh, and Bellamay was the best **** i ever had, not like these Pikey ****ers:."<yikes>

The money I lost was my own fault, for being stupid enough to enter into an agreement with scfc and I've written that off a long time ago..........what pisses me off is ill-informed muppets with little or no knowledge of their clubs behaviour in the past, or worse those that are aware of it and chose to conveniently ignore it and preach to others about fiscal propiety..........then there are the real idiots who think it was funny that scfc ripped off business owners, (the majority of which were in the swansea area) How funny would it be if YOU lost your job, or had to re-mortgage YOUR
property........or had to cancel a family holiday you'd worked hard for, because the local football club reneged on it's agreements....................I bet you'd find that hilarious.........especially when people were spouting about how "well" scfc was run................ <doh>

It is a highly unusual business practice, and the first time I have ever heard of it. It would appear to me, and any other non-mentally handicapped person, that the only reason tis agreement was included was so that you didn't have to pay for services you are more than happy to use. I guess some things never change.

But, since I am a reasonable person, even in the face of your highly patronising attitude, I wilkl give you a chance to defend both yourself and you club. So, here goes:

Can you name me one other business that only pays rent when it turns a profit?

Will you admit that this is a highly unusual agreement?

Since you like posting the example of Caseys and LBS, hows this for an example:

I will rent a room in your caravan, but I won't pay you any rent because I don't make any money, but I might one day, if I ever do make any money. Would that be okay with you? Or would it be different if you were the one being taken for a ride? Will you admit to being a hypocrite?

I spend on average £1k on the swans each year, hardly using the facilities for free ;)

So calling me a pikey is not patronising then? You reap what you sew lukey boy!

Nope can't think of one business that does that, but then the council really runs stadco, and the swans and ospreys prop it up

Well the council agreed it, councils are very strange people to do business with, so the best people to ask would be the civil servants who agreed it!

And you haven't answered, or anyone on the cardiff board, the reason I ask by the way, is that you want a football club be treated differently to all other businesses, if you want the swans to pay debts that occurred two decades or more ago, all businesses that have ever been taken over should pay back debts of the company it now controls.

I sold my caravan quite sometime ago, but the question asked is not relevant as it is not likely to ever happen, why are you saying I am a hypocrite? is it because you can't counter my arguments? The last bastion of debate is insults, well done on losing the argument!

Twisting my words because you can't argue with them. The last resort of a desperate, beaten little man.

I call you a pikey in response to patronising bullshit like "Lukey boy".

So at no point did the swans have any hand in negotiating the rental agreement? Is that really you're argument? Grasping at straws now...

I repeat: So at no point did the swans have any hand in negotiating the rental agreement? Is that really you're argument? Grasping at straws now...

Nobody answered you because it was a bullshit point that has no relevance to the matter being discussed, but, I have decided to humour you on this occasion. Unless the company goes into administration/liquidation before it is sold, then yes, the new owners are fully responsible for the debts of the business they now own. You in fact agree with this, hence your "you owe Langston money" comments, even though the club is owned by a completely different company/person/consortium.

The question is relevant, very relevant in fact, as it proves you are a hypocrite because you are expecting the council to do something you yourself are clearly not prepared to do. That is the definition of the hypocrite. It has nothing to do with the fact that I can't counter your arguments. For further clarification, you can read up on the subject here.

After having your arse served up to you on a silver platter by myself and many others on numerous occasions, perhaps it is finally time to give up the ghost?

superjerk, you keep quoting 90 million and you seem to pluck these financial "facts" from thin air like other posters.
You are right you are guaranteed 90 million, because that's what a club gets if it gets promoted and then comes stright back down again, like blackpool did, or Derby. So are you conceding that you won't survive more than one term in the top flight? And of course you don't get it all at once, it's drip fed over 4 years to help you pay the wages of the expensive players you have on your books from contracts made in the Premiership. Now doesn't that make you understand why Huw hasn't signed anyone? Because he has no intention of staying there he just wants the cash from the parachute payments.
Anyway what makes you think the team or the fans will see the benefit of any of that money? Blackpool's chairman was quite open in stating that he was pleased because the money would pay for the replacement stand that the ground was missing. Your chairman will probably put it all stright in his sky and use it to prop up his other business, that has already gone under and ripped suppliers and other off, but then jacks should know all about how that works shouldn't they? Years of experience!!

I know of TWO threads that will get on your nerves, get on your nerves, get on your nerves.

Guys, think we should head back up to the Premier League boards and wind up QPR. They don't get so hostile.

    Have fun down here Crapdiff!!!
