My match report.

 

I think it could be because the new boys aren't used to English football, but tadic, pelle and mane in particular seemed to be absolutely loving the crowd yesterday. Was great to see the team spirit at the end.

 

I'll mention that at one point, after winning a throw in deep in the Arsenal half, Pellè trudged towards the Saints fans in the corner and gestured to them to raise the volume even further, by waving both arms up and down, palms facing upwards. When they went louder and louder and louder, he clapped.

In fact, every time Graziano's name was chanted and it was a dead ball or out of play, he clapped. Dušan gave the thumbs up.

At the end when Dušan threw his shirt into the crowd and everyone chanted his name, he actually patted the badge... and gave applause and thumbs up.
