It was the strongest line up in tye competitiom so far. You had many of your big name signings involved in tge game.
It's like the Everton board on here. For the biggest club in the galaxy, it's really not very impressive. <tumbleweed>
5. [h=3]Liverpool[/h] 22 Mignolet 04 K Touré 03 Jose Enrique 17 Sakho Booked 19 Manquillo 46 Rossiter (Williams - 79' ) 20 Lallana 21 Lucas 50 Markovic (Fernández Saez - 98' ) 31 Sterling 09 Lambert (Balotelli - 74' )
I doubt that, but they could. Migs, Manquillo, Sterling will start. Lallana might, too. At a guess: ---------------------MiGs---------------------- Manquillo ------ Skrtel -----Lovren -----Moreno -------------------Gerrard--------------------- ----------Henderson -----Coutinho/Lallana---- -----Balotelli --------------------Sterling------- ---------------------Studge-------------------- Bold were starters and undelined were subs used in the 'Boro' game.
Lot of recently noisy people from london have quietened down for the day after their very strong side, including one of their record signings slumped to another failure in pursuit of yet another trophey. Thats 40 failed attempts since 2004. 1 solitary success. Arsenal. Going nowhere.
For whom? You or us? Gerrard may be aging and showing signs of rust spots- but Lucas crumbles into powder when you rub on him*. Neither are what they once were. * I don't actually recommend that you rub on Lucas.
I don't care about the popular choice, as most fans support other teams. I think the vast majority of LFC fans, though, would have Gerrard over Lucas. It's like Vidic over Jones.
