Bloody good tackle that! Shame Miralles decides to stomp on Suarez's head as he's coming down, though.

  2. If anything, that was a revenge challenge! It was in the seventieth minute and Suarez had dogs abuse from Distin and the other **** at CB (can't remember who it was) all game.

So Mirallas also goes for a completely unnatural double stud stamp to Suarez's head here too?

  5. Not at all, there is ****all wrong with that challenge. Its a strong aggressive tackle but well within the rules of the game :)

The one on Distin is bad but since you're claiming revenge for Mirallas' effort I'll do the same for that one :p

It wasn't maybe that he was as frustrated as f** because you'd blown a 2 goal lead then? No, course not.....

I'll let Didi Hamann have the last word...

  7. Of course he was frustrated, Luis got frustrated whenever we were losing. The racism and biting issues have all happened whilst losing too but usually coupled with the referee not protecting him as well. We've witness him getting kick from pillar to post regularly without the referee giving anything and he starts to retaliate. Can't say I blame him tbh as I'd do the same but without the biting etc <laugh>

Distin and his partner (?) had been kicking him that game if I remember rightly so no doubt it all got to him. The only reason I said retaliation is because you were trying to justify Mirallas' ridiculous "challenge" as just that which is crazy. A bad tackle is a bad tackle no mater what as happened before. Suarez deserved red for that effort on Distin just as much as Mirrallas did with his assault on Suarez. However, I stand my comments on the Luis tackle against Mirallas; he won the ball with a controlled one footed tackle, Mirallas just **** it. No foul, just a Everton throw-in IMO.

i think if everton can draw lfc on then players with pace can seriously hurt on the break but we'll see. i think just as easily everton could press high and dominate possession as defend deep.

If i were setting up i'd be planning to press high and deny lfc any midfield area... i'd not retreat into my own half.. at least 3 pressing... mirallas, lukaku and the lik come to mind but last game you had mirallas RB didn't you? and e'tto playing??

Sitting deep when in possession is fine, as that'll draw them out. I'd just hate to see us retreating deep when we haven't got the ball as we've looked awful when we've tried to do that i.e. in that same Wolfsberg game once we went 3-0, we did exactly that, and they ended up having 27 shots and Howard played like Billy the Fish to keep them out. They'll muller us if we attempt it.

The 2nd one only exists in Tobes' mind. Don't worry, it perfectly excuses all past, present and future fouls against Suarez though <ok>

Your position on fouls against him can't have changed just because he's left Liverpool. You're #neutral
